aaawww...poor ginny... i hope there's a part two in this story that narrates a happy ending of ginny with draco or neville too.. i always hate it when most of my favorite characters end up dead or unhappy, but i really loved it that harry and hermione got together...

Though, I woudln't know if Harry was in love with Ginny in the sixth book, would you? I don't know...I saw of it more as a puppy love thing...but..did he say hel oved her? Who knows..

It's not that you didn't write this well, I just didn't get the characterization of Harry. Just didn't work for me. He was never in love with Ginny "for so long". And making it seem like he married Hermione just because she was pregnant didn't feel right, either. Harry has always loved Hermione and his thing with Ginny was not love, just a hormonal teenage fling. This just didn't work for me at all as an H/Hr story. Where's the love?

Hm...I don't think I really cared for this one much. I've got to agree with another reviewer in saying that it's pretty skeptical that Harry and Ginny were in love. I mean, he says he "loved her for so long," but honestly, they didn't really have a mature relationship at all. I don't see any love there. And this story does make Harry's love for Hermione almost an obligation. He said he needed support and she was there, so it almost sounded like he was using her. I dunno, it could just be me, but this story seems like Harry is still head over feet with Ginny, and only married Hermione because he got her pregnant. That's not really love. Also, the bit about Ginny deserving to be the first to know about the marriage and baby...that's pretty far-fetched as well. I mean, Harry doesn't really owe her anything like that. They dated for what, a few weeks? I dunno, this story just doesn't seem very believable...sorry mate. But the writing was well done! And I've read a few of your other stories that seemed pretty good.

You've got a grammar error in the second to last sentence, it reads "were I had once stood" and should be "where I had once stood".

Otherwise, I really liked this piece. I like that Ginny was able to gain some closure, as painful as it was.
I'm not fond of the Hermione-got-pregnant bit, but I like how you introduced it with Ginny joking about it.
I like the respect that he showed her in telling her about it, so she didn't have to hear secondhand... however, I don't think it's fair that Ron doesn't know.

All in all, a very nice piece.

I, um, can't fathom that Harry loved Ginny. At the risk of opening a debate, what exactly about 3 weeks of snogging signifies love, when he hasn't even told her anything about himself?

I didn't like this story -- because it cheapens what Harry and Hermione have, within the story itself. Even the fact that H/Hr are expecting is presented as if they're together out of obligation. "We did the proper thing".. a shotgun wedding because the girl got knocked up doesn't signify deep love. And having Harry say that Hermione knows that Ginny was his first love... um, dunno about that. And all of a sudden Ginny is happy because Harry was happy?

This story feels like a H/G fanfic trying to come off as H/Hr.

I thought that thiis was very good. I liked it a lot and can't wait to read something else by you.

Great story but it's kind of a cheery piece for HHR. If you supported HG then this piece would just be plain cruel
