I thought this was lovely. It didn't need to be romantic to illustrate the depth of feeling and understanding Hermione has for Harry.

I also rather liked how brief the story was, if you can believe it. It got the message across without any superfluous prose or unnecessary tangents -- perfect for what you were trying to say. Well done!

I think that Hermione just has a Saving Harry complex. If anyone other than Harry was in trouble, there would be a price that is too high for her to pay to rescue them e.g. she wouldn't sacrifice her family to save Ron, but she would sacrifice them to save Harry.

This is a really good story idea and I love the title. I'll wait eagerly for the next few chapters!

Never seen it stated like that before. Guess Hermione really does have a saving people, or just one person, thing too.

Beautifully written and an especially wonderful last line. I've never thought of Hermione as having a similar complex as Harry, but after reading her reasons for standing by his side, it actually makes a lot of sense. And by calling out Harry on his "saving people thing" in OotP, maybe she was projecting a little subconscious realization that she was exactly like him. Excellent! And pretty impressive that you came up with it at three in the morning!

I found this very amusing since I always thought that while Harry has a "saving people thing," she has a "saving Harry" thing. I really loved the way you examined her superman complex--it was well-written, espeically how depicted that she carries it out without knowing it.
