This chapter was FANTASTIC! I loved, I mean loved, Johnathoan's realization of Hermione's feelings for Harry. So briliantly paced and beautifully constructed. I could feel Hermione's pain. I can't even describe it really. Wow.
And kudos for acknowling the tea drinking, AND the fancying Arthur Weasley. I just absolutely adore it. Cheers! |

I love the playful banter at lunch, lol. "Favourite sexual position." "Let's go." I can just see this scene play out. This is quite an intriguing story. Good show! |

Well, I have to disagree with Harry here...if he should feel betrayed more by anyone it would be Hermione. She was the one that always stood by him and he should be wondering why she didn't fight harder for him when they wanted to send him off on his own with no memory. Why didn't she try to stop them and stand by him...why did she agree. His confusion as to her actions in this would be the most prevalent in my opinion. So, how he can so easily fall again in terms of Hermione is beyond me.
And if Hermione tries to be all indignant now on Harry's behalf it would, in my opinion, be completely self serving to try to get into his good graces again. She is not giving him any space to process anything. She is basically taking control it appears. I just don't understand how he can trust her after her role in everything. For me, it's too soon on his part. His life in recent years should have made him more wary of people's actions, motives and intentions considering the life he was forced to live due to the actions of the people he trusted, Hermione included. They took away his choice and basically relegated to an isolated life, when they all continued and had families and built lives.
So, I would want Harry to have a bit more backbone here and have these people work a little harder to regain his trust....they deserve it...Hermione included. |

Love the story. I can't wait to read the rest of the story. Fantastic job! |

I feel like Harry is giving in too soon here. He was left alone with nothing....had to figure out how to survive on his own while everyone else went on with their lives. I just don't see how he could forgive any of them....I don't care what their reasons were, they played God with his life without looking back. They robbed him of a choice. That is unforgiveable. So to hear Harry say that if what they were giving him as a second chance....(I assume he may have said he could forgive them)...I find it really implausible. He should be livid. They should all have to work their arses off to gain his trust back again....if even just a fraction of it.

Hey good chapter, I was wondering though, are you gonna write the third part to that series you were working on any time soon. I don't mean to bother you but I really enjoyed the other two. If you could please respond to this review and let me know how long I'll have to wait it would be greatly appreciated. |
Author Feedback: I honestly don't know. I would first like to finish this story and still have to iron some things our concerning the ending and what will happen. But I do have ideas bouncing around my head for the third installement of the other series which won't seem to go away. I will try to update you though probably when this story is over. Thanks for the review

This is really a good story. Although I don\'t agree with the decision made, I understand, and in a sense it does make sense, even if it wasn\'t right. But you have to do what you think is right.
I think you got Harry/Johnathon\'s reaction really well, let\'s see what happens. If I were Harry, I\'d get rid of the death eaters then walk out. I can see him feeling unwanted, like they sort of used him at the same time.
But that\'s just me.
Really excited for this one, keep it up!

This is the second fic that I have ever been disapppointed in Hermione. The right thing vs the easy thing? What she did was take the easy way out. You can say you made the heardest choice of letting someone go, but what she actually did was take the coward's way out? Harry is not a normal man. He never was, never will be. And why couldn't have been normal with Hermione? And now that the DEs know that Harry is actually Jonathon, let's just mess with his life again and mind and bring him to "protect" him. They betrayed Harry twice. First by erasing his memory and pushing him out into a world he has no idea of (Hermione should have known begtter! She is a muggleborn!), and then bringing him back again into the world he has lived without for 6 long years. Cowards, the lot of them. And Lupin, who has seen how Sirius has lived in Azkaban for 12/13 years (not even Harry lived that horrible life) never did that with Sirius, so why did hedo such a thing with Harry? He really did betray James and Sirius. No wonder he was never chosen to be Harry's godfather. It's not b/c he is a werewolf, but that he would make the worst decisions when it comes to Harry and for Harry. Sorry just pissed off at the so called people who love Harry. Lovely story by the way, did you know? *grins* |

A wonderful update! Harry is understandably upset with those who supposedly loved him. I can't imagine the pain he must be feeling knowing that they abandoned him with their stupid plan. I was expecting Hermione and Ron to be a bit more contrite, perhaps in the next chapters we'll see them finally making up for the terrible thing they have done to their friend.
I can't wait to read what happens next. I imagine it's going to take a lot for Harry to overcome his anger, but hopefully they will all start to get re-aquainted. I'm also curious what effect Jon Smith will have on Harry Potter; what changes will be made to his personality as a result of six years as another person? Will this new Harry Potter be someone Hermione can still love? Can't wait to find out.
Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing. |

Glad to see a new chapter.
All through reading this story, I've wondered how Harry could ever get around to forgiving everyone - especially Ron, and even more especially, Hermione.
And, as well as you've written this, I still find myself thinking that if I were in his shoes, I would want to do whatever I could to return the favor and make their lives as empty and miserable as Jonathan's was.
I am extremely curious to see how the chasm is bridged... |

“I didn’t want to do it. Give him up like that...so cruelly. I just thought that, if the Order believed it could work then it would. Everyone was so willing and I didn’t want to...to be the one standing in the way of his happiness,” Ron confessed quietly standing alone in the middle of the room.
“During the hunt for the Horcruxes Harry kept saying Dumbledore had once spoken to him about making the choice between what is easy and what is right. Letting him go was the hardest thing I have ever done, Ron, so I believed it was right,” she whispered unable to say it aloud.
Well I don't agree with them, Ron because it's a bit silly to just hold in what you really think just because the others don't agree, and Hermione because I can't believe a smart witch like her won't know the real difference between what is easy and what is right.
I don't particularly agree with Moody either.
I can see why he's still angry at them, I've not agreed with the Order's choice from the beginning, because I knew it was wrong, and if I have to be honest I still wonder how they could come to that decision, but as Hermione said at the end of the chapter, "It's over now" and it's useless to keep talking about it, now they have to focus on regaining his trust, and find a way to explain his absence to the WW for when he returns. |
