I think you made it very plausible reason for them to break up. And, I have to wonder if he hadn't run away, that they might have been back together sooner. I also liked that it was less than four years, a much more plausible timeframe.

The way you described Harry's emotion and feeling when Hermione told him that she wanted to break up was so very well done. You captured every feeling and described them perfectly.

That broke my heart. That is the kind of dream that you never want to wake up from and when you do you try so desperately to go back to sleep and pick up right where you left off, but it never happens.

Thats so nice what she said and than him "I love you", "Forever" really nice way to sum up their love for one another. after all that time and all the dates there was only one person for them.
