Interesting take on things. Surely it can't end here though - this can't be their original universe. |
Author Feedback: That would be too easy, wouldn't it??? Thanks for your review! I am considering either a re-write, or a sequel. Not sure yet. We'll see after DH comes out! Honestly, the last few lines were a surprise to me as I wrote them. It seemed to me too, that it couldn't be their original universe. However, I think they've earned some time off to enjoy the particular one they landed in. . |

I came acros this fic today and read it all in one shot. You are a very talented writer. I greatly enjoyed the journey on which you took the reader. I look forwsard to the next adventure you pen. |
Author Feedback: Wow, thank you so much for your very kind review! I really appreciate it! There was so much time between writing the last few chapters, that I was worried it might adversely affect the story. I'm glad it didn't seem to! Thanks again! |

Wow very good story but kinda confusing, did they both get hit with the same spell or different ones, any way it was really good |
Author Feedback: Hello! They did both get hit with the same spell. The first part of the story is the reality where Hermione is hit. The second part is the reality where Harry is hit. The third reality is that they are both hit. Hope that helps! Thanks for your review! |

*laughs* Now -that- is quite the ending, amidst all the varied "what-ifs", they land in the most congenial one (then again, I suspect that if they feel as strongly about each other as they appear to, their hearts or subconscious would hunt for and select such a reality). It was a truely dark and sneaky move on Tom's part, but it floundered on a consideration he never even expected to be involved, and therein lies his final defeat and downfall.
'Twas a great story that I've thoroughly enjoyed. |
Author Feedback: Thank you so much for all your reviews, but especially this final one! I'm very, very glad you enjoyed it! I was worried I'd made it a bit too easy for our intrepid duo at the end, but geesh, after everything else they'd been through, why not???
Thanks again for coming along for the ride! I've enjoyed all your reviews! |

Hmm, so both versions of Harry & Hermione are now wandering and exploring and all coming to the same conclusion. This is going to get -real- interesting when all of them awake, especially if there ends up being a link between the two versions of either one of them. I did like the way the selection process went for both and I loved the way it was brought home to Harry that the job became his because -he- was the most suited to do it without getting corrupted or other failing. |
Author Feedback: Thank you so much!
I love your ideas and speculations. A lot of times I think, "Wow, that would have been great if I had done that!" when I read them! |

Hmm, and in an alternate reality it's Harry who's been hit and having problems but -that- Harry's spirit is taking a somewhat more exploratory look at where he is and at what might have been and what could be from there. 'Twill be educational to see how the two worlds interact and what each Harry and Hermione chooses. |
Author Feedback: Chapter 5 was the one I just knew would leave everyone scratching their heads, but I was really hoping the whole alternate reality thing would clue people in somewhat as to what happened. That's always the hard part as an author, when you know what you're trying to get across, but you're not sure if it will make sense to readers.
Harry's whole experience was actually a bit of a surprise to me as well. I started writing it, and it sort of just unfolded in front of me.
As far as references go, Harry's frustration at arriving back at the same place (with the "x" on the ground) was a bit of an homage to the beginning of the second (I think it was the second) Matrix movie. |

*Laughs* Erised Press? Now there's a tip-off, or an anvil-sized clue, if I ever saw one. I like the way this chapter progressed as both Hermione and Harry found that direct action as opposed to passive action worked better for both of them. I will admit, the differential time dialation between where ever Hermione was and their reality was quite extreme and interesting, I have to wonder what, if anything, that indicates about where she was.
It was good to see both Hermione and Harry start to realize things that both, apparently, had kept locked down inside themselves, though I really do feel somewhat sad for these versions of Ron & Ginny.
The ending of the chapter was definitely something of a bittersweet cliffie. |
Author Feedback: Hee hee! I really love that you got my references! It's fun to put them out there (anvil sized, pea sized, and all in between) and see if anyone comments.
The time thing was fun to play with.
I always feel a bit sorry for Ron and Ginny in the Harmony environment. They do tend to get knocked around quite harshly. I try to treat them as sympathetically as possible, since it's not their fault they wound up with the wrong people in canon!

Yeah, I caught the Tolkein reference and chuckled. In a way, this story does sound like an epic quest, but with some different twists. Anyway, they're making a little progress, but not much.
On another topic, 'twill be interesting to see how Harry reacts to Ron's admission as I'm suspecting that one reason he can connect with Hermione and Ron can't, at least so far, is that there's a far stronger connection 'tween Harry & Hermione, even if neither has yet recognized nor admitted it. |
Author Feedback: Glad you got the Tolkien reference! I was having fun with my chapter titles!
I actually feel there was more to this (story) than I managed to write. I'm contemplating going back at some point and fleshing it all out - but you saw how long it took me to get this far, so I'm not sure if it will happen or not! |

Hmm, curiouser and curiouser, that was quite the different spell/curse, or was it a combination of a couple different ones intersecting and interacting with unpredictable effects and consequences? I can see lots of possibilities here and it seems likely that treatment is going to be very much trial and error - lots of error of necessity and a real trial for all involved. |
Author Feedback: Hope you don't mind individual review replies (since you were kind enough to review every chapter!). I do appreciate your thoughts along the way! |

A valid lesson there, at the beginning. I admit to being a bit surprised that not one of the wands found cast the spell; this indicates, IMHO, that one DE, or more, was disillusioned/cloaked/otherwise hidden and managed to cast that spell and escape in the resulting turmoil. I suspect this party, or these parties, to reappear at most inconvenient times for our heroes (that is, of course, whey they're called 'the enemy' ). |
Author Feedback: Hello! Thank you for coming back and re-reading and (in some cases) re-reviewing! Yes, "constant vigilance!" The thing about the dark side is that they think in ways the light side just doesn't. |

YES!!! Oh, that was just wonderful! And it was just brilliant reading "The Story so Far" - fabulous idea, dear! Very clever, too - old Voldymoldy would be proud of that evil, twisted idea! And speaking of twists, I love the little one at the end with the "Ron and Ginny are ok with us" reality! (Harry: "I don't suppose anything else is different..." Hmmm, *Janie scratches her chin*, Valancy's not planning on a sequel, is she? 'Cause if she is, there's an opening, right there!) I also loved: "It came from our hearts, a place much more powerful than our heads." ::sighs:: Just lovely!
Do you know, that's the first time someone's sent me a hello and hugs in a story??? Thank you sweetie!
 Hugs

Author Feedback: Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
I always look forward to your reviews! (And your e-mails, and your stories!)
I'm so glad I could return the gesture, since yours was the first mention I got in a story!
As always, your review is lovely and wonderful, and definitely made my day (well, night, since it is night here)!
Goodness, a sequel... I'll have to give that some thought!
Thanks again, and "see" you very soon!!!

I'm glad to see that you did finish it. I hate when stories aren't finish. I thought that it was pretty good but I was confused a little in some parts but was able to figure it out after re-reading those parts. |
Author Feedback: I hate when stories don't get finished, too! Thank you for re-reading and reviewing! I appreciate it! |

Just found this story - it was a lot of fun. The twist in the middle caught me by surprise, but I appreciate being surprised in a fic.
The writing is solid, and the plot moved fairly quickly. he last chapter was a little bit mush-heavy for my tastes, but as it also did the moldiemort thing, I can deal with the bracketing mush. I would have liked the scene to go a bit longer and have a bit where Harry & Hermione talk to Ron & Ginny... whatever reaction you would have given them. The punch-line at the end is definitely a bit of fun, but it could have used a better set-up.
ANYWAY, I loved it. Thank you for sharing this with us, and please keep up the good work!

Author Feedback: Hello! Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad I could surprise, and I'm glad you enjoyed this! As for the mush, I did put romance as a subgenre, so I consider that fair warning! However, I agree that I could have set things up a bit better and could have chosen to deal with the Ron/Ginny issues differently. I appreciate constructive criticism! I also appreciate compliments, so thank you very much for both! |

Sniffle....I was hoping that they would have to endure Ginny & Ron thinking that Harry & Hermione should be with them. *G* But this is ok also.

Author Feedback: Thank you for reviewing! I know I dodged a bullet there with Ron and Ginny. I know there's an alternate reality somewhere out there where they had an explosive confrontation! |
