I have to say I have not been as happy with this story as I was with Off Balance, nor am I as excited about it as I am about Unchain My Heart. Awesome! How interesting. I like how you have constructed Jean-Paul; you can see how, having had Jean-Paul as a teacher, Tom would have become so afraid of death, so much so that he even duplicated his teacher's solution of creating horcruxes. It's strange that neither Jean-Paul or Tom ever realize that there are things worse than death - being locked up in a room for six centuries would certainly count as "worse" in my book. Thanks for the chapter - looking forward to the conclusion! |

The core links was a wonderful idea, I think. However, I'm not quite sure if you reached the whole potential of explanation in the chapter. I mean, it was a little hard to follow and, for moments, I felt like "wait, what? This is not entirely believable". But, as you said, more on Linked cores in the next chapter... maybe I'll stand corrected.

Wow. I like that Ginny's hex back fired because Harry likes Hermione more. It makes Ginny suffer more. I love it. So what was so important that Dumbledore hid it in the Chamber of Secrets?
