This is really good. Now, it's my personal preference and opinion, but sometimes it's better to put the lyrics either before or after the story. Having the lyrics in the middle like that distracted me a little bit. As for the story, I can see an argument like that happening. Nicely done and hope to see more from you!

While I love this song, too, to offer the most constructive criticism to a fellow writer, I'm afraid you've fallen into the cliche songfic-authorship (I know because I've done it too). In this case, there's a few lines basically spitting out the same thing as the song. While it could work if done as a collected movie montage with bits of scene of dialogue, it doesn't really stir the reader.

But I do see a lot of potential in this piece, and I suggest letting a full story form out of it. Don't let the lyrics write the piece, use them as a catalyst. That's what makes a truly memorable piece of song-inspired fanfiction. Again, I'm only saying this because I've learned the hard way that one has to continually take critiqued advice and develop the story to the best it can be, even it's just meant for little drabble on a fine site like this one.

I love how you started the beginning, it was very captivating. I wanted to know what was going to happen! I love the song too,it went well with the story's plot. Great story, I enjoyed reading it! I still wonder what exactly happened to their relationship before.

Well, as Gred/Forge might say, "that was a waste of parchment". Sorry... I just didnt like it. It didnt go anywhere, and it was a bit confusing. I didnt like the line of lyrics every other line. It was a stereotypical predictable arguement between H/HR: "I love you more then anything (tho for some reason not stated in the story, aparently, I broke up with you)", "oh, everyone who loves me dies, so I'll tell you I dont love you". Then Hermione falls to the floor crying, and Harry comes running back. Sorry, it's been done before, and a lot better. Perhaps you need to fill the story out more. Give the Characters more to do, put more into the back story, tell us what lead them here. It just needs more to it.

Hummm good... but it makes me wonder what happend before... see I'm very curious... huhuhu... just that ... well if they dated before. or even how all this fit in the next term.,.. hauahuah

Great story although I'm a bit confused about something. Somewhere in there I heard Harry say "You broke up with me, remember?" Was he implying that they had used a cover story or had she actually broken up with him before the scene in the story?

The constant switching between the song lyrics and the story was well done. The scenario - Harry trying to keep Hermione away so that she will be safe and Hermione not standing for this - is very plausible.
A little thing: there is a small typo "than fine" should read "then fine".

I really liked this fic, and I like the way you made it so short, but had so much happen at once - it makes it seem as though this argument has been waiting to happen for a long time, and both wanted to admit their undying love for each other, and now that Harry realised how much what he was doing hurt Hermione (also perhaps he had thought of it before already), he was able to say that he won't do it again and that he will always love her.
I really liked this fic, and I love the song as well.
