I like this a lot so far, Much Ado is my favorite Shakespeare. The dialogue is all very snappy and witty, and it's moving along really nicely. I'm glad that you're giving James a personality that isn't perfect, it makes him a little more human than most people want to write him. This is really great, keep it up and I look forward to more! |

as always, melanie is my favorite character. She is so evil! Too bad you didn't make Marlene believe her. I think you should make Marlene doubt his love and then Sirius not understand why she's distancing herself and then after Marlene finally believes what Sirius says, he will blow up after Melanie. but she'll find a way to get out of it that sly dog! cuz i can't bear her fading away from the story!!!! kisses |

ooo melanie doesn't seem too nice. i haven't intensively studied james' family, but i think, like, two other fics (including dangerous liasons) has a cousin named melanie. is that coincidence, or am i stupid? :-P

Author Feedback: Haha, I wrote "Dangerous Liaisons" too, and so yeah, they're basically the same character. So I decided to use the same name. I'm not sure the other fic you read where his cousin was named Melanie, but yeah, that's just coincidence.

Author Feedback: Haha, no they're not exactly the same characters. You'll find differences and similarities in all of the characters. Melanie, however, is exactly the same (for the most part), so I decided to keep the name! |

Author Feedback: I'm glad you really like it. However, while I did update yesterday, I'm really sorry, but I don't have the other chapter today. homework/lax training/myspace got in the way. However, I plan on getting it done tomorrow night or thursday night. If not, it will definitely be up by monday.

Aww, you are too right. It is a bit short. However, one can always assume that you are busy with what some people call "life". I know, the concept is foreign to most but I am almost positive that that is what you were busy doing, having one that is. 
Anyway, keep up the great work! I definitely cannot wait to read more. I am a bit curious though, did you base this roughly off of pride and prejudice? The mannerisms and such seem to follow it. Not the setting or the words. Hmm, well if you didn't thats ok. I doubt many people would make that association though, unless they are fanatical about P&P as I am. haha...Update soon!!  |
Author Feedback: Haha, yeah...I don't really have much time on the weekends, and then on Sunday night at 8:30 I'm like "Oh shit! I still haven't started my homework." Yeah, it's a bit of a problem...
So, during the weeks are when I update the most... Once lax starts, idk what I'm going to do though.
Haha, yeah it's based of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. And although I don't think it's been proven, a lot of people think that Jane Austen based Elizabeth off of Shakespeare's Beatrice from Much Ado About Nothing (who I based Lily in "To Be Without Fault" off of.) However, whether Jane Austen based Elizabeth off of her or not, there are unmistakingly many similarities between the two. So yeah, I definitely see where you're coming from. I love Pride and Prejudice too!
I'll try to update either tomorrow night or Thursday night. If not, I can safely promise I'll have it done by Monday! |

Author Feedback: Haha, they're not that snotty. James and Sirius can act snotty sometimes, but I promise Sirius is not and James will get better. The parents are a bit snotty, they're a lot like my parents actually. And, yes, Melanie is a bitch.

I'm extremely sorry that I was not able to update tonight. I'm in training for lax right now so I had to work out and it's junior year, so I have hella homework. but tomorrow night hopefully I'll be able to update. Don't expect any updates over this weekend though (or any weekend for that matter.) So, hopefully I'll be able to get it up tomorrow night or the night after that. If not, Monday.
