Wow.... While I would absolutely *love* to see this as a chaptered story, I think it's wonderful as a stand-alone. It's very powerful and emotional. It gave me chills! It really did. I almost think that this part would lose something if more was added to it. That's how much I think of it. Wonderful job on it!

You have got right to the heart of why war is so horrible. Not only the people who fight the war are affected. Most of the time it's the homeland and the people who sent them.
