Well, that was one giant bucket of angst. Wonderfully written, especially the last chapter. And thank goodness for the ending. Of course Harry needs Hermione badly - who else is going to save him from himself?

Kudos for following the style that the fic wanted and just letting it be. It's so very powerful and emotional as it is.

I love the chapter title, Abandonment...that one little word means so much. To me, Harry wishes that he could abandon everything, but he can't seem to because he cares to much. YAY!

Dramatic and yet eloquent without being melodramatic (there's enough of that out there).

I enjoyed the style that it was written in. There's something much more evocative of the emotion when you don't use quotation marks. Weird? Yeah - but I think it reads better this way. It deals much more with their emotions and not with the specifics of dialogue. I think you've achieved a raw and emotional ficlet that's not heavy handed in it's description of depression and the light at the end of the tunnel that tells you someday - not tomorrow, but someday - it will eventually get better.

Good story! I just wish it could've been longer. Write another one, then!

This was a very good chapter. Very dark, but good none the less. I'm glad Hermione was able to get to him in time.

harry sound so alone in hia own little world but hermione can reach him in the dark and bring him to the light

Harry's a fighter. He's always been a fighter. Suicide just isn't in his nature. Sure he can be depressed but he's not really one to give up just like that. It's a well written fic. I think it's OOC but it's a well written fic.
