This is one of the best pieces of fic I've read in a really long time. This piece made me really emotional, and that has only happened while I was reading one other fic…ever…. You’re writing is incredible! The characters were spot-on, and the way you constructed the story in which you interlaced the present with flashbacks of the past was brilliant. Seriously this has now found a home onto my top 5 of my favorite fics EVER!!! There aren’t enough good things for me to say about this fic. It’s always so nice and refreshing to find a little jewel like this. I so need to make some time to check out your other works, I have a feeling they’ll be just as good!

This was pretty good. It was well told and it was a very believable scenario. You could totally see Harry getting so wrapped up in getting Malfoy, that he'd neglect things at home, but not realise it. Especailly since it seemed Hermione was, in a way, enabling him by making excuses, and telling the kids that it was ok. I think that's reasonably in character for her too. I'm not sure I've read anything with this type of plot line. I liked it.

My only complaint is that you ended it too soon. I think Hermione accepted his word too quickly (tho I believe she would go back to him, but I think she'd move a little slower). I also would have like to read about Harry reconnecting with his son.

Nice little fic. I mean i think its cute how they 're going back together. I do feel sad for James, I mean he's really upset with his dad. I would too, if my dad didn't know my favorite things. But you did a great fic and i think the solution and how harry apologize was great. Keep writing.

Your storyline was wonderful and made the reader think something like that could happen.
Your writing was vivid like seeing a movie, THEY hugged, THEY kissed, etc. Yet if the performers couldn't play thier roles effectively, the audiences wouldn't see how THEY really felt. According to me, more narration about THEIR feelings and thoughts might have the readers more clearly imagine, such as how THEIR expressions could be.

Aww that was so cute and yet sad but then cute again!! I liked it, the reason she left was actually believable, very nice. And the flashbacks were useful, not overly done in my opinion. Well done!

Ah loved this so heart wretching and all. Had to catch the escaping tissue box it know touching stories and tries to hide. Could so feel what the characters were going through and all .

It's a beautiful fic. We've seen so many fics out there, where Harry and Hermione are married, or in a relationship that falls out because Hermione is too busy to take time out for her family. But then people forget that it can be either spouse or both that may contribute to the marriage not working by being too busy and this fic does exactly that by showing how Harry's work schedule alienated him from his family and friends. This only goes on to show that even a person like Harry, who wants nothing more than a family that loves him can take things for granted and do exactly what he fears the most- neglect dear ones. Good fic

So sad to thnk that Harry would be so worried abou Malfoy that he forgot everything that makes him happy: his wife and children.
But sometimes, we are so preoccupied with those things that we forgot the main reason we want to protect our families. Thak god Harry has understood that he couldn't live without them.
It was a wonderful story.
