What troubles me most about all these Harry/Hermione stories is how disappointed we will all be when the real book 7 finally comes out. Hundreds of thousands of people half anticipate/ half expect Harry and Hermione to end up together. I don't mean to poop on the parade but I just don't think that's what JKR had in mind...Just food for thought. |

I'm with you 100% on the book 7 thing..the important thing is that we as readers are able to separate ficdom from canon if necessary--just like (most of us) are able to separate the films from the books. I think this whole shipping war has just arisen over the fact that good art is open to interpretation and what matters is how the author intends it. you sure do. but that wat make the story so good and warming(not sure if that is the right word). i think wat's even better is H and Hr get together and kiss. the atmosphere is very romantic but it needs a romantic couple. but wat do a guy know about romantic right. lol.

So far you have only given us the barest hint that Hermione feels something for Harry, but nothing about Harry's feelings.

I loved your story even if it was an implied H/HR. You hit a soft spot with mentioning the scene in SS between H/Hr. That is my favorite scene and forever made me a Harry/Hermione shipper. No two will ever have the chemistry they do. You seemed to capture and write that beautifully. Well done. |

I think you were trying to hard to make the conversation overly deep. It seemed forced to me in a way not a natural flow like you would expect form a H/HR conversation, even without romatic complications. Some parts also came off confusing for they seemed to try and underly a point I just didn't see. Yet I must say I do love the fireplace scenes in all Harry Potter stories. There is just something so right about staring into a fire that brings a sort of romantic feel to any story. |
