I love the part about Hermione getting jealous over the giggly girls!! it's so cute!! I'd love to see harry's jealous side also. will you write that?

Gorgeous. I loved the beginning, I loved the end.
I love the one-sided point of view, AND, somehow, the couple of lines in italics broke the narrative just enough to show something - anything - of his. And it showed their passion enough to make me grin.
I love where - or more particularly, WHEN it's set, too. And Hermione's reactions to those *girls*!! And the way she somewhat wishes someone would realise, although she realises she's pretty much dead meat if that happens.
I can't say everything I love, really...but I'm adding this to my favourites to come back and read all over again. Makes me feel strangely warm, which is strange, considering it's slightly broody, too!

I wonder what reason she gave Ron for turning him down. Poor thing. 
I was hoping for another "stolen moment" by the "crackling fire", but I still enjoyed it.

I love how well you wrote Hermione's thoughts. They conveyed her fears, sadness, and ultimately hope for the future. Oh, I do hope you continue these one-shots, they are utterly addicting and fantastic.
