Yay, I really like this ending. I think you've perfectly captured why I never got behind all the Ginny/Harry hoo-rah. She will never know him the way that Hermione does.

Ahh that was a cute story. I liked the sudden logical Aha! moment from Harry, that was great - exactly what it means to be Pumpkin Pie =)

Cute story. It seems very possible. Ginny really doesn't see Harry does she? I mean, her response to Harry's decision to leave in HBP, "Maybe that's why I like you so much" {Or something to that extent}
Whatever, I'm calm. I love how Harry realized how much Hermione means to him, and the way that had little night-time meetings.
And really, what do Harry and Ginny have in common besides Quidditch and Voldemort Possessions? (Which she hasn't even mentioned since book 2... I think)

Yes, I am biased and ranting in a review, but anyways, I liked this story!

I recently got back into reading the Harry Potter fandom, and I had forgotten all this great stuff that I've been missing. There is such a wealth of talent on Portkey, and you are certainly one of the very talented authors. This was very sweet, and I enjoyed it a lot.

Cheers, and thank you!

*giggles* this was darn sweet. Hermione's poor parents should worry about cavities. lol. But now they won't have to worry about their girl, Harry will take good care of her, yes he will- especially when he's so drattedly besotted. *giggles* Absolutely, charmingly, drattedly besotted.
i;m glad thigns worke dout that way too. X]

I really liked this.
It was an excellent potrayal of the relationship between Harry and Hermione and of Harry's realization in stages of the importance of this relationship.
It was also an accurate portayal of Mrs. Weasley's attitude towards Hermione, friendly as long as she plays her role in her one big happy family, and of Ginny's behavior, friendly with Hermione as long as Hermione is not a threat to her relationship with Harry.
I think the Weasleys will always remain important to Harry and Hermione and the relations will re-adjust. I would love a sequel!

Great story. why don't you continue in this universe? It would be nice to see how they do in the Auror Academy.

I'm usually a big fan of your work, but not this piece. Your Harry and your Hermione are good in their dealings with each other (of course!) but you really don't grasp Mrs. Weasley, or even Harry's love for her. Mrs. Weasley wants Harry to marry Ginny, but she loves him as a son, not just a prospective son-in-law, and even if that weren't the case, she's not Slytherin enough to work for that marriage this way. If she found that Harry and Ginny were not going to work out, she would do her best at making them be comfortable together as pseudo-siblings, and she'd probably succeed.

For Harry's part, Molly is the closest thing to a mother he's ever really known. And that's very important to him. If Molly betrayed him, as she does here, he'd be heartbroken. (That's part of why she wouldn't do it.) I'm not saying he wouldn't make Hermione a higher priority--he would--but having to walk out on Molly in order to be with Hermione would be among the hardest things he's ever done, emotionally, even harder than burying Ron. He would not so quickly be turned to making out.

And Hermione knows that--this IS Hermione. She knows full well what Molly means to Harry and what he's given up in walking out of the Burrow with her. You show her as concerned about his leaving Ginny, as perhaps she might be, but she would understand that leaving Molly was much tougher. It's tougher because his relationship with her was more important to him than his relationship with Ginny was--and it's tougher because for all that Hermione takes care of him, she can't replace a mother-figure. And Hermione understands all of this. So she ought to show some concern for it.

This was lovely! I've personally always hated the way Mrs. Weasley has treated Hermione; I like Mrs. Weasley, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear her call Hermione a "scarlet woman" again if anything were to happen between H/Hr, rather than R/Hr and H/G.

"You can’t cling to each other forever…unless you marry her, no woman is going to stand for that –“

“Then maybe I’ll marry her,” Harry snapped.

Those lines just above really stunned me. I guess it was because Harry was just blurting out that he'd marry Hermione.

Ginny did have a point, though. What woman could ever put up with how close H/Hr is and always will be?

I loved this fic. Thank you for writing it!
