I though Bench by the fence was my favourite, but I think THIS one is the new fave one. The dream part was heartwrenching, but what Hermione promises without knowing what she is promising is one of the finest paragraphs I've read in fanfiction.

aww!! OH MY GOSH!! reading hermione's 'dream' for harry i swear i got a lump in my throat. you seriously have a skill for writing! i swear a tear formed in my eye at the last paragraph of this story.

Ah, this was lovely, and definitely necessary to complete the preceding chapter. I hadn't fully realised that Harry was oblivious as to his feelings for his distaff best friend until I read his thoughts here, detailing his epiphany.

Written very well, had me smiling one big smile at the end, except ... what about poor Hermione!?!?! Still with bags under her eyes, still thinking that her love for Harry is unrequited. Shame, Miss Author!!! :-) I hope this egregious error, this horrible treatment of Hermione is addressed in the next chapter! :-)

Arrrghhhhhh!!!! Why couldn't you let Hermione know - now! - that Harry's visualised wife is her, and not Weasley!??!?

Aw, Harry loves Hermione! (LOL, We already knew that, but it's nice to know that Harry dreams of a future with Hermione.) I can't wait for the two of them to realize that they feel the same way about each other.

I loved your story. It's somewhat light, angsty and fluffy at the same time. I finished reading it with a huge smile on my face!

The final paragraphs of the first and third chapter made me feel butterflies in my stomach!
I liked the fact that both Hermione and Harry are in love with each other but think that they are in a one sided love! It'll make it sweeter when they get together.

Your writing is very nice, and even without a beta, I only saw a handful of mistakes. You write Harry and Hermione so well - I was nearly in tears in the first part because of Hermione's story for Harry.
