Oh, wow. Guh. What a marvelous first-time fic! Messy, a touch awkward, uncertain--this one felt real to read from start to finish. Wonderful, wonderful story--thank you so much!

Again, another great "first time" fic. Just like your others, I liked the whole sense of reality and innocence you bring to it. Those moments when Hermione thinks to herself "how is THAT really going to go in THERE?!" Much like Hermione, no matter how much you read and might watch on Cinemax at 1AM on a saturday, there's still that innocent, inexperienced, part of you-- it's not something necessarily tied to age (thank goodness for me!)-- that doesn't really understand that world until it's actually in it (no pun intended). Those feelings and situations are both refreshing and very engaging to read.

The underlying desperation (it's more subtle here than in the "Prefects Bath" fic) behind the motives of the characters resonates particularly strong and true.

The story/plotline you frame it in serves it wonderfully as an episodic ficlet and you give enough background and emotions/feelings.

I'm off to read MORE!!!!!

Oh I'd forgotten how much I absolutely adored this fic. SOOOOO brilliant and so wonderful-- I love this expression of how much Hermione would do for Harry and the peace they found. The last line is so lovely and so very poignant and perfectly H/Hr. Yes, the peace they find will be enough to last them for the struggles-- it has to be...

Hermione who is willing to do everything and anything for Harry ... and Harry awkwardly trying to explain how he feels for her... Perfect.
You capture them so well.

Awww...this was so adorable. I really felt for Hermione when she was worried that Harry didn't feel the same way. I've felt that way before and it's horrible. This was great. I like how you made Harry kind of awkward and stuff like in the beginning when he was talking to Hermione. This was great. Loved it.

Very nice. I see that being very, genuinely Hermione, and the result being very Harry. She'd do anything for him, because she is so loyal and she only wants what's best for him. He's so soft-spoken, I suppose. Without prompting, he doesn't give anything away. Excellent personalities. Keep writing!

You did a great job with the internal dialogue - Hermione seems to be just the type who would have constant self - critical commentary running over all of her actions.
