Excellent. This is what PK needs - more stories like this. Fluff's all well and good, as long as it isn't predictable. I like the way the characters have changed over the ten years, and aren't just watered down facsimilies of themselves in Hogwarts. I think your Harry is brilliant - slightly corrupt, cynical and bitter. I need to see more of Hermione before I make a judgement. As for Ron - I have never read him like this before. While you may have credited him with too much intelligence, it's very nice to see him portrayed as something other than a loveable doofus and/or accepting friend.
The story seems to have a gritty crime/legal aspect to it, if you know what I mean. When I'm reading this I can't seem to imagine the magical world, but Gringotts is a sleek, modern place somewhere more suited to Beverly Hills. That isn't a criticism by the way, just curious. Possibly it's my own over-working imagination.
I've crapped on for long enough. Thanks for sharing this story and I hope your updates aren't too infrequent!
