Whether I like a story or not (and this one's okay) is irrelevant. I really *hate* authors who whinge about reviews by hinting that if they don't get enough feedback they aren't going to keep writing.
Getting a bunch of reviews is wonderful, and a great way to judge how well received yoour writing has been, but how can you accurately judge the response when you've tried to use emotional blackmail to get more pats on the back? |

I try not to winge and whine about how reviews fuel my need to write. I never said or hinted that I wouldn't keep writing without reviews. Primarily, I write for YOUR pleasure and the rest of my readers so yes, feedback is nice. I also write to express myself, something I don't need reviews for.
I'll say what I usually say to people like you - if you've got nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all. This was unnecessary.
