Nicely written so far, and I'll be eager for updates to see how you develop this. One thing you might have done, and perhaps still plan to, to add some depth to this would have been to include some reaction of Hermione's parents about having Harry dumped on them, perhaps explored a little their inital reactions to him and perhaps how those have changed as they got to know him and the situation a bit better. Lots of good material there, especially for a character like Harry who little experience with a real family, and for normal parents who would have to be shocked that abuse like Harry has experienced is suddenly placed in their face, rather than an abstract concept that you hear about on the news.
Don't have a sense yet as to where you're taking things on the Order side. Thanks! |

So here I am, sitting in a hotel room in Providence, Rhode Island and rereading this because, apparently, they roll up the streets in Providence at 8:00 and there is absolutely nothing to do! (Thanks God I'm only here one night).

Thanks for your support Tank03 - I've actually paused Priori for the moment while I work on finishing Ties and taking part in NaNoWriMo this November, and I have a thousand and one plotlines I want to do running through my mind, but I'll try to get back into Priori asap.

Lost both my jobs recently, so finding new ones has been taking up my time, and I've started seeing a friend as well, so I've been a bit distracted, naturally. Rest assured, I have my outline for the story more or less complete, and I've been drafting chapters in my free time since I haven't really been in the mood to sit down and write properly recently.

Hey. Wow. This is a brilliant story so far. I was really eger to see how far harry and hermione would go with their kiss and then ron came into it and i went mental. It was a brilliant cliff hanger that you put on that. I do think that you got rid of harrys depression to fast but it was still good for the story. I hope you will up date soon because i would really like to see what you do with this. Thank you for your time. |
Author Feedback: Yeah, I was a bit swift with it I know, but bear in mind that Harry's still, essentially, on his escapism kick from the world of magic. He's living with a muggle family, doing ordinary things like going to the park on a summer's day, going out on a date, that sort of thing.
Repression can be wonderful, until the reminders start coming constantly.

Your writing is a true work of art, literature flows from you like fine wine from grapes... bad analogy but holy crap, your writing is good! I love the word usage and the elegant arrangement of words, its simply incredible! You writing is better than JK's will ever or could ever be. Are you a proffessional? anyway, I love the story but harry is a little darker than i think what most people are used too, but its your story so develop your characters how you wish! |
Author Feedback: Harry is a bit darker than most, but he did suffer some pretty horrific things over the last few months. He deserves a bit of slack As fair warning though, I think this story's going to get a bit darker before it gets lighter again once they get back to school.
