This song has always made me cry, its on my standard break up mixed cd. So its a really good choice.
Poor Lily hurting so much that she is moving across the pond so to speak. I've never had to do that and cannot imagine how hard it would be. Obviously she still loves him, otherwise her reaction wouldn't be so strong. The picture of course would have been of James and herself, no?

Wow, I shouldn't admit to that, it makes it seem like I am a sad muppet you just sits and does things that people tell her to do online. -Facepalm-
Anyway, about The Story (capitalized for sheer importance) I am in love! It's so good! I love the fact that James isn't so totally in love with Lily that he'll just take her back. If he was hurt a lot by her leaving him, I think he'd be a little reluctant to have her back in his life so easily, so I love the little defense James put up against her. I also like Sirius' character. ^^; It's easy to make Sirius just sound stupid, but here I think you really managed to get the fact that he's not the most intelligent guy without making it too extreme. |

I'm so glad you like my portrayal (sp? yeah, I'm a horrible speller.) of James. He loves her so he does take her back, but y'know she did hurt him and whatnot. So it'll all be good in the end. Sirius is wonderful. I just hope I'm not making him sound too childish. In the first chapter it was ok, because everyone on their first trip to NYC gets a little childish, but I hoped he seemed more serioius in the second chapter. But not too much, 'cause that'd be boring and un-Sirius like. Thanks so much for your reivew! |
