That was beautiful. The imagery, the language, the mood - everything. Very dreamy, very soft, very...wonderful. Amazing work.

Wow, this story was so beautiful! I've actually been wanting to read it for a while but was never able to get around to it - I actually e-mailed a link of the story to myself so that when I could find the time, I would read it...
It's such a brilliant story! I love the depth and the emotion, and the "theme" of "scars" that it brings up, for it speaks about Harry's emotional scars, and mentions his physical scars - and it all comes together with his remembering something so meaningful although it was only about crayons and colouring - it seems so simple, yet it's so deep at the same time - I absolutely love that about it! You're a wonderful writer!!! I can't wait to see more of your work!

It's an amazing story. I wish I had those kinds of crayons when I was little, we just had the generic, plain ones that you had to sharpen.
keep it up

Author Feedback: Thanks so much. I had the same kind of crayons you did. But my kids have such cool selections. They were the inspiration for this story. |

". . .the room vanished into the comfort of black that held the promise of future colour."
Stunning finishing sentence. =]

That was amazing! I love how Harry & Hermione have come to a point where Harry feels free to talk about his childhood with her. That was really well done! |

ooh. it was so beautiful. i really liked it. the end was great. great job! |

wow.
i like that.
there's something, pensive(sp?) about this one. a quiet revelation of sorts. a quiet realization of the scars of the past and the beautiful future that they've made together.
i really liked this one.
there's something comforting about it. simple and beautiful.
write more!

This was so heartbreaking (at least in the middle). I wanted to cry for Harry and just give him a big hug. And a box of crayons, one of those huge ones with 80-some in it. I could completely see Petunia doing something like that, that awful woman.
But the end made me feel better that Harry now had peace with Hermione and their beautiful children.
Wonderful work! |

Your story had a poetic beauty to it. Your story of Harry as a child broke my heart. It was very realistic to harry's life. It's stories like these that leave me hoping Harry has a chance at a normal life with a wife and two kids and nothing but what tomorrow holds. Great story. |

Fantastically written I must say! Shows the inner deepness that I've come to love about true Harmony and remains QUITE canon because of that.
Great analogies and past memories! Keep it up! |

I loved the memory you created for Harry. So heartbreaking. Very cute little one-shot.
