hey there
just wanted to leave a little note to see whats going on. not with the fic but with you. hopefully life is being kinder to you. and trust me - i understand you pretty well seeing as i make a friend and then they become a best friend (not too easy for them) and then they're taken away. or move away or i move away.
its sad and disheartening no? yeah it is. but, you just gotta take it day by day sometimes.
hopefully though we'll hear from you again soon!
i think this fic started out well enough and i hope to see more on it as well.

Thanks for the note, it put a smile on my face (..wow that sounded cheesy...lol). I still miss Ashleigh, but I'm about to call her mom to check up on her progress. Life is being alright, it MIGHT get just a little bit better soon, not sure yet, lol.
I've had the worst luck with best friends, I ALWAYS lose then, either they move or I do, or in Ash's case, she got sent away. It's definitely sad, but I try not to think about it too much.
I'm trying to write when the mood strikes. I thought this story would go pretty fast, but I guess not. I've been working on my other story, "The Potter Vs. Granger Rivalry" mostly, I just posted a new chapter of it, and have chapter 14 started. I plan on working on this one too though!
Haha, I try to be happy!

 I can't even grasp the fact Harry's gone! What's the use of Hermione if there's no Harry?! haha, yeah, thanks for the add last night. I found out this was up and I checked it out. Great story, wonderful. I'm usually into humor ones, but you have to have a balance of bad and good, so I checked yours out, and it's really sad. I just wanna hug Hermione, but hey, I know you, and you won't let Harry stay in that place... or would you?!?!  lol. Great story, continue soon.

i really like it
its so deep and i can like really feel hermiones pain...
i mean ive never lost my best friend or "love of my life" but i have experienced some emoitional pain just like hermione here
and i know its no picnic

Yeah, wow is about all I can think when I read it too, mainly because of the pain. Yeah, I know where you're coming from when you say emotional pain is no picnic. It sucks. I've been through too much of it in my 16 years, lol! Definitely no picnic!

I had just gotten into portkey, looking for something to read when I saw the summary for your story. I was not going to read it, but gave it a second thought and did anyway.
This has got to be one of the most emotionally, charged fics I have seen from portkey in some time. The fact that you had to live through something as terrible as that is heartbreaking, and I dont even know you.
As to the fic. It was magnificent! I hope that you continue to post more on this story soon so that I can continue to read through it. My one question, or rather request is that you find some way for Harry to return to Hermione. We all hate to see our 'bookworm' lonely.
Once again I will say what a wonderful job you have done on this fic, and that I give my deepest condolences to you and your friend ,

Author Feedback: I know that feeling. I'll sometimes see a story, decide not to read it, but then change my mind and give it a quick look over. Sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it isn't, lol. But I'm really glad you took the time to read my story, I spent quite a long time on it.
I'm not a real emotional person, which is one reason why I was a bit intimidated at writing this story. I didn't know if I could do it justice. But I gave it a shot, hoping it would help my feelings, which it did. I tried to put in as much emotion as I could without making it overly dramatic. I think of Hermione as being kinda like me in the emotion department, and in my story, she just had her breaking point. I would probably react in a similar manner as she did. Yeah, it sucks to have my friend be taken away and I can't have any contact with her. It hurts sometimes when I read her letter or hear our favorites songs or whatnot, but she is progressing I guess, so I'm hoping things will blow over soon.

I don't want this to be an all-out story for two reasons: one, I've just got too many others started, and the other, I don't think I could do it. It hurt enough just to write this, I don't think I could write a full-fledged story on it! Lol, don't worry, your request will be granted. Chapter one is about Hermione, chapter two is Harry, and I plan on chapter three being the reunion (that's my plans so far, they ARE subject to change, however, lol!),

Author Feedback: Wow, you've never heard of Fuel? I strongly reccommend for you to check them out. I don't know a whole lot of their songs, but the ones that I DO know are awesome. You should check out their songs Bad Day, Falls On Me, and Hemorrhage (In My Hands). They are all brilliant songs. They all inspired me with this story, especially the first two. I know this one is sad, but it's just how the situation was. I'm glad you liked it though. And yes, I know I need to update The Potter Vs. Granger Rivalry soon. I had a mega brainstorm about it, so hopefully I'll start that soon. Thanks for the feedback!

Author Feedback: Lol, I loved that first line of your review, it made me laugh so hard! I will definitely keep going, don't worry. It's going to be a short story though, mind you. I've already got about 4 OTHER stories I'm doing at the moment.
Harry doesn't break out because he can't. The next chapter will be about his situation, so it will be more clear. Basically, at RMI his magic is drained from him to ensure that he can't break out or hex the guards. It will be better explained in chapter two.
I'm glad you liked it. Like I said, there's just going to be three chapters, so I'm not going to make it some epic journey or anything, more of a project to get things off my chest. Thanks for the review, you were the first one on this story! Thanks!
