I've read this story several times, but I don't remember leaving a review.
The 1st chapter has one of the best comical dialogues I've ever read with Harry trying to explain the mythical heroes handbook while Hermione is trying to understand Harry's reason for not having time for romantic entanglements. All done over the backdrop of their non-romantic(?) relationship.
There are too many scenes that are so well done to point out as favorites, without saying the whole is wonderful. Being a guy I did have to read Harry and Hermione's confrontation 3 times before I understood why Hermione wasn't accepting Harry's declaration of love after they were potion free. Again well done being able to have the characters saying the same things, meaning the same things, and totally misunderstanding each other(is that the definition of angst?).
One point that still is a bit awkward to me is after they slept together for the first time Hermione's comment that she didn't expect him to like cuddling afterwords and his response that he usually didn't seems to indicate a casualness about sex that's inconsistent with their characters considering how hard they resisted the attraction between themselves. |

If there are somethings made this story less than perfect, they were;
One: You seemed like to reserve the magic words for too long, The readers had to wait until the end of the story.
Two; I preferred HE said the words first, not the other way around.
Like you stories, though.

I've enjoyed reading this story twice now and I'm still irked at how Ron and the gang are upset/mystified by the "odd" behavior of Harry and Hermione instead of reveling in the success of their mission? Did they forget what they sought out to do? weirdos. lol. |

Well, you seem to make them both sound like Mr and Mrs Mary Sue and the description seems more accurate for a somewhat older person.

you could have continued this story easily with another couple of chapters to at least bring closure to all of your readers. |
