How horribly depressing. Killed by a drunk driver...and yes it is anticlimatic. If she survived the war, and killed by some stupid mistake. I do like this fic and am glad that you wrote it. It gets a message out to people. Great job.

That's just horrible, but what's even more horrible is that it happens every day. Stupid people making stupid decisions and breaking lives like that! That makes me mad! (Which, by the way, means that you did a very good job at writing this story.)

I like how its anticlimatic, it adds to the horror. His refusal to deal at the end is so tragic, yet I love how it ends with his promise.

Wow, that was powerful, and almost made me cry at the ending. It seems so hard to accept the things that hurt the most as truth. I really liked this story, but I wish it had been just a bit longer descriptive-wise.

Very sad and angsty, but an important point. My aunt was killed in an accident with a drunk driver, and the idea that something so stupid could destroy such a wonderful, active, alive person is just too hard to wrap your mind around.

I read the a/n and decided not to read the story.
I hate character deaths. Maybe you should put that in your summary and not in the a/n.

Now I'm off to find some real fluffy romance.

I nearly cried . That's a lovely, well not in the pleasant sense, story. The intensity of it all just bouncing off your words, so beautifully written.
