Anyways, they say 'Well begun is half-done'. Going by that theory, I hope that this horrible beginning will give way to a better rest of the story.
Also, I don't think you can judge a seemingly >50000 word story by a 2000 word chapter, but it you do, that's your call.

smut and fluff.....who knew that they could be married so beautifully.
excellent work sauron as always. I will miss the Lone Warrior. It seems that there were a couple of things that you could have really taken off with in there, but maybe that was it. Too many things that could go off on its on but couldn't be brought together. Maybe one day you'll come back to it because I myself am a fam of dark!harry stories and there are far too few on this site, and even less that are readable.

Glad you liked it. As far as the Lone Warrior goes, I guess it came to a point where I just couldn't think of the story beyond the point it reached. I mean when I think of Ancient Secret of War or Heir of Lord voldemort, I envision an ending. It's the middle bits I have problems filling in. But the greatest error I made while writing the Lone Warrior was I didn't have a clear ending in sight, and that translated in my getting fully stuck up. Hope it will clear someday, but sadly i don't think that will happen.
With regards to dark Harry fics, this is going to be dark, I think before the lovemaking crept in, you did get a glimpse of that.

This fic is going to be a bit dark because of the premise set in. The next chapters will contain much of the background. As I said, I hope to update as soon as I can till 21st May, after which I'll be a free bird and will have all the time in the world to write fanfiction.
