That was a wonderful twist on the challenge. I know it's not really relevant to the story, but I love the way you write- simple and to the point, just like Rowling. It seems some people can make their stories and dialogue so complex, that it's just a chore to keep up. Really good job.

That completely shocked and wowed me. You captured Harry and Hermione's characters so wonderfully. Love the idea of them adoption a 4 year old as apposed to a newborn, much more Harry-ish than if they just adopted the youngest. Makes sense that he'd adopt even if Hermione was fine because of his own childhood. Brilliant writing, had me laughing and worrying about Hermione and Alex all at once. Loved that she got pregnant... Would it be too much to ask for a sequel?

I have to say, I think your version was much better than if you followed the challenge guidelines. I was really impressed with this story. I was a bit put off at the end, when we first saw Hermione had become pregnant, because it seemed almost like too convienient an ending, but I liked how you tied it to Alex. Good job!

This was wonderful! It seems a shame to let it end there. You've created a wonderful character in Alex. Why not continue it? It would be fun to watch her grow up and go to Hogwarts with her sister.
