Once again, a beautifully written short story depicting a moment in the lives in Harry and Hermione, a simple moment that hints so evocatively at so much more. I love your writing.

Aw, I lost the review I've written earlier.

Anyway, one thing I hate most in fics is when someone writes that Hermione and Ron had a sexual relationship.

So I definitely love this story because you wrote here that they didn't.

And I kind of like the directness of this story, too. Sometimes, simplicity is good.

interesting piece... I like the way you write... it's like... something is lurking there and you know it but it's not quite... totally awesome... loved it...

Love it. I REALLY don't know what else to say! I could go on and on about how implied H/Hr is SO much better than the real thing, but you know how much it is already
Good job! I must say that I'm a real addict of your fics, please NEVER, EVER, stop writing!

Musca....

Wow. That is just... wow. You're one of the few authors that could do this thing with words and tell a story and let the story flow beautifully.. am I making sense? I love this piece. You, my darling, is one hell of a writer. Keep it up.

"For a moment they’re unsure how to arrange their bodies. But then something else kicks in, their limbs deciding to negotiate the situation with grace. Her cheek finds that it’s rather nice to be pressed into the hollow of his shoulder. He finds that his arm quite likes the weight of her head and the texture of her hair. He mutters a spell to make the couch big enough for both of them, but her legs realise they don’t need all that space; hooked over his is just fine. He warms at the touch of her breasts against his side with the rhythm of her heart nearby. Her skin settles into the warmth of his."

The imagery here is just brilliant. Wonderful job.
Author Feedback: Thank you so much.

I had forgotten to look at the author before clicking on the fic but about five sentences in I thought "Oh, it's something Ama wrote". You have such a distinctive style and I am so. Very. Jealous.

I loved that one little part about the porch and how it reflects the trio's personalities. It's little details like that I love.

And the ending was perfect. Sort of funny, sort of fluffy, sort of wistful. You got it all!

Author Feedback: Hey Claire

Thank you! And aww, don't feel jealous! And I'm SO glad the ending worked, and even gladded you didn't mention the S word at all in your review

I loved this the first time I read it on your LJ and it was a pleasure to reread. I'm glad that you posted it here so everyone can enjoy this lovely scene.

I like imagining Harry walking up the stairs just a minute or two after Hermione, pausing by her door to wish her good night, and then...well. I don't mean to bother you about a continuation of the story (it's perfect as it is), but...well.

Author Feedback: Oh, I don't know what to say. Thank you SO much, and I'm so glad the story's a pleasure the second time round. I hope you're feeling better. We miss you on LJ but no pressure. I'm sending nice, warm, sweet, comfy thoughts like...like...like the smell of sugar turning to caramel on the stove on a rainy day .

*hugs*

Sorry, forgot to mention that the sequel you didn't mean to, uh, bother me about is duly noted in my little book of hints.

I love the way you write, it's so unfair.

There's so much potential in this story--not that it's not gorgeous on its own--it just has so many wonderful places it could go from here. There's so much that could be explored. I love the tentative hold Harry and Hermione have on something that could be amazing, but they're so unsure and just nervous, I guess. I'd be so happy to see a sequel or another part, where they clear the air about a lot of things. Please say you'll continue!?
Author Feedback: Hi Sabine, so good to see you here. Hmm. I don't know about a sequel. Yet. The story was meant to be more complete than it is now, with a more rounded ending, but somehow it didn't feel right once I was halfway through. It feels premature for a more fluffy, resolved ending, like, say a kiss It needs a couple thousand words more before I get to that stage, I think, and frankly, right now I just don't have the time, cos I'm having a real bad case of Real Life.
But it's certainly on my mind

Thank you so much for dropping by

hmm.. is this it? or will there be more? Nice job, either way.. though it leaves me anyway hanging.. lol.. good thing ron wasn't there for that spider.. or maybe that would've made him like the cat, lol.
Author Feedback: LOL. Sorry, but I do think this is it for the moment, though I might do something about it later. Can't promise anything at the moment. Thank you so much as always for dropping by.

Yet another wonderful, perfect slice of life, without a word extra or out of place. Lovely images and poetic desriptions. Utterly touching their cuddle on the couch at first ackward then magical. The last few lines, Harry asking if theres someone ealse, her look and then "Maybe" Wow I never knew I could be so moved by such a simple word. So simple yet so beautiful. And the comparison of their budding realationship to a night flowering plant, brilliant. And the last line, him hoping she is cold, breathtaking. As I think someone ealse said, I'd love to see another chapter but its so perfect like this, it is probable best to leave it alone. Still...
Anyway lovely story, Always great to read your work.
Cheers,
Tim
Author Feedback: Hello Tim! Great to see you here again. I love it when regulars return (yeah, now I sound like a coffee shop), it makes me feel I'm doing something really right.

And yes, I did note that very subtle hint at the end of your review. Hmmm. I'll mark it in my little black book which is just for Subtle Hints for Sequels.

Thank you SO much, although my thank-you's never do justice to your reviews.

Oh, what a great story. The ending was just perfect! Your writing seems almost poetic; I especially loved the line about the nightflowering plants. Everything in here was just gorgeous! I have to read this again sometime!
Author Feedback: Hello! Thank you very much for the review I'm glad everyone seemed to love the nightflowering bit, I just wasn't sure if it was a bit too heavy handed. Thanks again, and I really appreciate you taking the time to review.
