Now that was fantastic! I can't believe I never thought of Peter being scared of cats and in particular Ms. Norris, ingenious! This was a a beautiful piece of writing and the last paragraph was perfect - it showed a real connection between James and Harry. Wonderful one-shot!

Aww, that was wonderful. The charecterisations were right on the spot and what James saw as the Boggart was wonderfully ingenius, seriously. And how he reacted, and how *everyone else* reacted, and how Lily reacted...but I really loved how he reacted. Just like him. I think.

Still, just one, tiny complaint: the end. Perhaps the 'change your Boggart' thing I can work with [especially since she didn't kiss him on the *lips*, which makes it tons more realistic], but for something as good as this, a sentence like 'after all, there was nothing to fear except fear itself' just doesn't seem to...fit.

Constructive criticism, is all. I love it all, really. Seriously. Honestly. Except the end. =P

I like that you didn't make the aftermath excessively fluffy. In fact, it was appropriately awkward!

Love the tie in with the quote at the end. And I thought James' bogart was interesting. I would have likwd Lily to elaborate more on the change the boggart line. Perhaps se would tell him muggle quotes and that is where he would be able to face the boggart again. Any way this is very sweet. Good job.

I like this story. Quite good. I think that you should write a whole story, not just a one-shot.
