I must say I have read this story a few times before, and I never seem to tire of it. You portray the characters flawlessly, and I love every bit of the story!

I decided to take your advice and try another story. Though I missed the part in the summary of the other one that mentioned the 19th century setting. Now that I realize it was suppose to be that way I might try it again.

This one fits much closer to my reading style if there is such a thing. It's amuzing to see Harry jerked around by his insecurities. I'm suprised he doesn't have whiplash.

Thats really great that Harry and Hermione are together with a dance. I wonder did they ever clean her robes with a spell or were they all muddy when they returned to the dance. Keep Writng. Love ur stories.

Good use of the Sadie Hawkins day concept, though I would not mind seeing the next day or more of other peoples comments and observations. Though that would dilute the focus of the story as it is.

Amethyst, you are amazing! I wasn't sure if I wanted to read this but I thought, hey, it's Amethyst and she rocks so why the hell not?

This story was so filled with fluffy goodness and it was believable (which can sometimes be rare in fic). It just kind of fell on Harry that he sort of liked this girl. He woke up to his undying love (which you know he totally has) without it being fake or annoying (I can't tell you how many times I've seen stuff like: OMG!!!1!!1!!!11 I love Hermione with every fiber of my being and I'll die if I don't take her right now but I know that she wants Ron with a fiery passion so I'll sit and pine for 8 million years)

Why can't you be JKR right now because I know you would be able to write the romances perfectly coughUNLIKEHBPcough.

Harry is really silly, though, don't you think? I mean, when Hermione asked him to the ball, I really thought that Harry would get it. Although, I suppose his insecurity did help him realize how he felt.

I liked your depiction of Ron also. It's about how I'd think he'd react. Although, I would have thought he'd be pissed in the interim between the asking and the ball. Perhaps Harry was too preoccupied to notice? I like how Luna whipped him into shape.

I really like this story a lot. The ones that have something to do with a ball have always been my favorites. I like how you let Ron get jealous but then be happy for them. Overall it's an awesome story and you're a great writer. I read other stories of yours too.
