Heartbreaking. My heart physically hurt reading this. The fact that they were so close but they didn't... *moans in frustration*. I really wonder how I can expel so much into these fictional characters But it's good writers like you that can invoke such strong emotions for them, reminding us of their love for them even when Canon has supposedly disappointed us. So even with the depressing ending, it was beautiful. I love depressing endings from time to time.

In complete honesty, I hate when Hermione is left behind, but I find it appropriate here that she was nearly driven mad because of that action. After all, her place was always by his side and he did a much greater injustice to her by leaving her in such a fashion and not allowing her to be where she needs to be.

...amazing. I'm simply amazed at the raw emotion I felt when I read this. It brought tears to my eyes and tore at my soul. This was a marvelous story and I hope you can write others like this one because they help me evaluate life for me and remind me that there's one more thing for me to do...

That was very heart-wrenching, very heartbreking. It's funny, just yesterday I finished "A Wrinkle in Time", and it was also quite sad... guess the wave is taking us all, huh?
