It's beautiful. Not at all too corny but just as sweet. Oh, and that bit about Frank Longbottom and the plant made me giddy. Don't know why. Great connection to present characters, I guess. I liked it a lot.

Only one thing, you changed the quidditch teams. At the start is says the house cup match is between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff then it goes to be against Ravenclaw in the actual match.

and then suddenly madam pomfrey busts in screaming about lily "upsetting the patient" and needing to "keep her mind on the task at hand" lol it strikes me as odd that james never worried about his broom, but... yeah. interesting, though, how sirius seemed to have forgotten to make a few comments about lily caring for james (well, to lily, at least. he certainly didn't forget to mention anything to james) a really sweet story

This is nicely written - I like the details, though Lily feeling that Snape is like a brother to her is kinda.. disturbing..

Oh and the formatting was just slightly annoying as well. Try not to have such big spaces between paragraphs in the future.

Yay for Lily and James fic! This was great, I loved their interactions with one another. I can never get enough of the James gets hurt on the Quidditch field fics. There's just something about Lily taking care of James afterwards....great job.
