Very nice. I agree that that old saying about eavesdroppers is often true, and I see Hermione as the curious sort who would, in all likelihood be an eavesdropper. You never know what one will say when they don't know who's listening. We are so many people, when you consider the people we hide from particular friends and aquaintances. I imagine that Harry hides his understanding, sensitive side around Hermione. Ron's so oblivious, he'd never clue in. Hermione, on the other hand, might read too deep into in. Nonetheless, now she has a memory to hold on to, and possibly the promise of more to come. I can only hope . Keep writing! |

Great little ficlet, a tantalizing glimpse of Harmony to come. And the only who's barking is JKR for the character butchery she committed in HBP.... |

If only I could find things like this in Jo Rowlings notes, the Harry Potter world would be a better place...
I did like the story for what it's worth. I like stories set in years previous. Not so much the love, hate romance we are used to in fandom world today. just the good ol friends that we knew would get together in the end....sigh...too Bad,

Aw, that was sweet. I really liked that, especially how Harry understood and defended Hermione. I like how you also referred back to the first year incident. Awesome job! |

Aww that was a cute little ficlet! Short and sweet but not too short though I supost more could be added to it but it seems right to end it there . |

That just made me blush so hotly. Cute!!! And without any snogs too... you are a genius. Not that any of us mind snogging, but these fluffy G fics are adorable. This was wonderful. |
Author Feedback: I think this is the first "g" fic I've ever written in my life, lol! And no, definitely no snogs in second year. But that doesn't mean a girl can't get butterflies, does it? |

Awww, that was so sweet. That's why I ship H/Hr, Harry understands her, and Hermione understands him. Ron, clueless as he is, will never get it. |
Author Feedback: Oh yes. He understands her, she understands him. That's why they're such a joy to write. *g* Thanks! |

that made me so warm and fuzzy. i liked how you didnt try to force romance into it (although i never object to a little romance) but instead just showed how much harry really understands hermione. this was just a really nice part of their friendship. |
Author Feedback: Thanks! *g* I actually had to stop myself from automatically making it more 'shippy' - I've never written them at this age before, so it was all a bit new to me. Glad it worked for you. |

Ah, nice! And nicely in character, too, although Ron's easy - 'mental', 'barking', and 'food', and that's most of him dealt with; 'absolutely typical', as Hermione thinks. But Harry-sticking-up-for-Hermione is certainly a nice little thread which makes we readers feel good. And her observation of his wearyness was nice too. I wonder if there are other points in canon where a secret moment like this would make sense? Is it 'Ron hating' of me to consider that there might have been a point in PoA, during the boys estrangement from Hermoine, where Harry was ready to forgive but Ron kept him going? That would make us feel better about his abandoning her for him? Sorry, just thinking out aloud. Nice little story, thanks. |
Author Feedback: *grins* Thank you!

Heh. That idea just won't get out of your head, will it? *g* Perhaps someone will take you up on the challenge - I know I'd certainly like to read that. |

It's just so very canon!
Awesome characterizations, Jen. What a wonderfully sweet H/Hr moment, and they didn't even interact with one another!
You. Amaze. Me.

Author Feedback: Aw, shucks.
Thank *you* for all your encouragement - I wouldn't be on this ride if it wasn't for you! |

Awwwwwwww! Very unique and original i've never read a story like this it was awesome, how you wrote that i can totally relate to Hermione i love books and reading is kind of what i do when i'm depressed or something it helps me get away and you totally described it perfectly awesome job it was great! |
Author Feedback: Thank you very much. I have to confess to a bit of self-insertion there - there's nothing like the smell of books to soothe the soul, is there? |

That was very sweet. I have a great fondness for tiny vignettes like this. I like how Hermione recognizes that Harry empathizes with her. |
Author Feedback: Thanks, Anne. I don't do 'sweet' very often, so I'm a bit out of practice, lol! |

awwwwww, that is so freaking adorable! I love it, I love your Hermione, and I love your eavesdropping idea. |
Author Feedback: Heh. Thank you! At least there was no troll this time. |

Nice Story. She finally feels he understands her. Definitly better than a troll! |
Author Feedback: Definitely. Trolls are very bad. *g* Glad you liked it! |

How incredibly sweet was that. I love how you made Harry understand her perfectly. Although I say that even in canon, he is the only one who understands her and Vice Versa. Brilliant little snippet. I loved it. |
Author Feedback: Yes, canon can be very good. It just needs to be handled, uh, the right way. *grins* Thanks for reading and enjoying! |
