I loved both of them. 'In the Moment' and this fic. I like the plot. The only thing is why do you have to make the Weasley's suck pricks? I mean, I don't like Ron as much as Harry but he's a'ight. Anyways, kick ass story dude.

I don't really see how Harry took her back so quickly, first, she admits that she found out a week ago that he was the father of their child. Then, after Ron proposes, she breaks it off with him ONLY after hearing him gloat about his victory over Harry. Now, that all could have been worded wrong (And maybe on some phsychic level, Harry understood what she meant) but then she says she knew for certain that she had to break things off once the pregnancy results arrived. (Of course she could have felt sorry for Ron and that's why she waited). But theres all these other questions like "Why'd she wait a week to tell Harry" and "Why was she so concerned about Ron's feelings and not Harry's?" He did lose his father but it wasn't as if Harry had anybody to lose.
Great story, but when I look at it from Harry's perspective, I see a lot of plot holes and unexplained questions and missing resentment (And I say resentment because I don't think he'd get THAT angry over it but it's missing none the less.) |

Great story. I really enjoyed reading it. I hope you make another sequel. I really would love to know what Harry and Hermione had. It was good.. but Im kinda confused. I mean, Hermione said that she wanted to give Ron a fair chance and that she broke up with him only because he was acting as if she were a prize. But she knew she was carrying Harrys child, and THAT was why she wanted to break up with him. Yet if thats the case, why did she agree to Rons proposal even though she was pregnant with Harrys child? If Ron and his mum hadnt acted like that, would she still have broken up with him like that, regardless of Harrys child? Im just really confused is all..... Overall it was great, twisted my chest a bit at some parts and all. I just would like that end with Hermiones reasons for the break up cleared: Did she break up because shes pregnant with Harrys child or because Ron and his mum acted she was a prize, thus ruining her giving Ron a fair chance.
Good luck understanding that, I just dont know how to ask the question, but if you do get it please answer me. |
Author Feedback: I know it was kind of confusing, sorry about that. I guess I let my confusing woman side out (as my hubby calls it  ) as I was writing that part. If you read "In This Moment", the first story that led up to this one, then you'll know that Hermione is staying with Ron because she doesn't want to leave him just after his father's died. So in this story, she still feels that obligation to stay with Ron and when he proposes she says yes even though she wants to say no, to spare Ron the embarassment of being rejected in front of all the people at the ball. But, when she hears his mom's remark, basically it clicks in her head that she's just a prize to Ron, he doesn't really love her, he just wants her so that Harry can't have her. He knows that she and Harry love one another and he's spiteful, wanting to keep them apart. She finally gets her courage up to dump him and be with the man she truly loves. And yes, even if Ron and his Mum hadn't acted the way they had, her conscious would have won out in the end and she would have left Ron, telling him she was carrying Harry's child.

SQUEEEEEEEE omg I love it.. and Molly really doesn't seem like the type that would say something like that, so I was really shocked and I love it... one thing... she's known for a week that she was pregnant... she said she knew she had to brake it off with Ron, yet she still agreed to marry him? that part I don't get... still an awesome story
