I'm am so glad I found this. You write so eloquently and the concept was beautiful. The way you portrayed the relationship between Narcissa and Draco was truly tear-inducing. And, how you went on to use that relationship as a means to draw Draco and Ginny together was lovely. Not to mention, your choice in music was excellent.

Wow. Wow. That's really all I can say. If I had to pick a ship, it'd be H/Hr, but I've always been intrigued by the whole idea of D/G. Stories like yours are one of the reasons for that.

To really emphasize the complement, I have an exam in a little over 8 hours, and I'm currently only up to read this story. It's wonderfully written. The way you managed to delve into Draco's mind was just so ... unexpected and expected at the same time. Draco is still Draco, but managed to make him three-dimensional, human and touchable. Kudos for a wonderful job. It's a perfectly wonderful one-shot.

It might just be me, but man that sent shivers down my spine. The idea of no more music, especially after the image of laughing Draco and Narcissa just chilled me.

I love the songs you used to illustrate the story- I always think of That's Amore as the kind of song a mother would dance to with a son and I don't really know why.

I... I am so thrilled that you used Change Partners because I do love that song so very much (Have you heard Harry Connick, Jr's version?) and it speaks so much to the idea of Draco stood wishing he could dance with her, of love that hasn't yet been fulfilled or expressed. Love it so much.

Basically, because I'm running out of time, this is really great. The end is really... I just don't really know except that I love it. Actually, I know exactly what it is: that's what we all wish for (if we don't already have it) when we hear that song.

Too bad ten is as high as the rating scale goes, this one definitely deserves more!

First, I love the way you took my two favourite characters and made them human without losing too much of the bad in them.

You wrote the memories with such empathy, I found myself actually tearing up, especially at the point where Narcissa believed that Draco pushed her out of the way on purpose.

That was so beautiful! As a devoted Lucius/Narcissa shipper, I was sad that he was at the root of all her pain, but it really was necessary for the plot to meld together so beautifully...a fair trade!
Your Draco seemed very in-character.

This is almost poetic, the way it's written. Also sort of abstract, which I really thought was wonderful.
I also started laughing when I heart the lyrics to "That's Amore" because I remember my friend singing that song really badly.
