Interesting start. I'm not used to stories that start anywhere else than summer because they usually have to imply all the events leading up to the current situation. This scene would have gonre well in the middle of a post HBP story.

Its the snow and the night that got me here. So much like what I used to have as a kid on Christmas eve, night and the night after. You got it very well describing Hermione's feelings about the snow and the night. And I just love the way you had her sharing such experience with Harry. A great moment indeed..for a Delusional... .

Its simpe yet meaningful, the scenes you had on this chapter were hauntingly memorable and worth trying in real life...believe me, snow and Christmas are two of the most important things one should eexperience before one becomes tooo...DELUSIONAL!!!heheheheeee...
