Well, of course Draco would know. He's been watching them for years.... not a good thing for a death eater's son to clue in oh, eh?

This painted Harry as someone who is a little deeper than what we see in canon. I liked it. Good job!

Oh, I love this one. (I love all of them of course, but this one escpecially.) Nice to read a story that really sets the romance in the context of the larger story- the struggle is present, is in the forefront even, and it adds to the urgency and romance of the story. Am I making sense? My point is, I like that the story isn't in a vacuum.
Love that you stuck with Harry's perspective. It's very tempting to slip into the third person omniscient, but by resisting it feels more like the books. As much as I'd love to see inside Hermione's head while Harry's telling her her loves her, the dialogue tells all, and besides that's not really the point, is it?
I don't know if this was intentional or not, but Harry's thoughts drifting to Malfoy at a time like that seemed to me to be a harkening back to HBP and Harry's little Malfoy man-crush.
Lovely all over.

Nice. I like how Draco pointed it out to him. Of course, that puts Hermione in more obvious danger. Malfoy has revealed Harry's weakness before witnesses. What will keep her safe now?

Wow. I like the third-person limited perspective. It really, really works for this story, especially when combined with the terse, almost Hemmingway-esque writing story. It's a great way to make an impact, and you really did that. It took so few words, but you managed to say so much. I love it, if only because you didn't bother with any details other than the most absolutely crucial ones, not letting yourself get dragged down by them. Fantastic!

I really enjoyed this story, with a tougher, harder-edged Harry and the conversation between him and Draco. Very nicely done.

Wow! You managed to capture both Harry and Draco so well! I really enjoyed it, it was short and sweet, but had just enough substance to not make it fluff. Great stuff!

I liked this fic. I think that either Harry or Hermione would realise that there is no need to hide their feelings for fear of what Moldywart, I mean Voldemort, may do since one of his followers is sure to know how he feels about her.

Muahaha, how sad, Harry had to hear the truth from Draco...

Well, at least Draco finally made him realize the truth.

He did good, for once...

Nice little ficlet, I very much enjoyed it.

Fluff and angst rolled into one, very cool. Very good story, but I have one problem though. It’s not with your writing or this story. It’s personal. I hate Draco, can’t stand him really. Always have. I don’t want to see him redeemed, I want to see him suffer and, on a good day, die horribly! Sorry about that, I tend to rant a bit.

Anywho, loved the story, thanks for sharing. (insert ubiquitous smiley face here) -Bob

Very nicely done, and no cliffies, I'm so happy! I love stories that leave me smiling at the end, and this is one.

Oh, this was so sweet, Goldy. I say that knowing "sweet" is a word that many use to politely describe a story they're not REALLY fond of (or they simply poccess a limited vocabulary), but this was sweet AND well-written. The exchange between Harry and Draco was thrilling! I absolutely loved it. Very in-character, and just as good if not better than their exchanges in the books. Plus, the kiss with Hermione was simple yet passionate. You built up to it so nicely, and yet so effortlessly. You make writing seem like a breeze! I'm a fan of every story I've ever read by you, for the quality of each is often overwhelming. This one was no exception. Please, keep writing!

I loved your story, i like the fact that although Draco is evil harry will still help him, like he helps everyone in the books.

"honestly,as if there was any doubt" this should become the mantra for portkey As usual I loved it! With the madness of school it is nice to read a truly satisfying one-shot without feeling guilty. Thankyou!
