This story was positively excellent. It was well thought out, it was tightly plotted, and Hope is a delightful character - truly a mix of both her genetic parents, and properly appreciative of her adopted ones. I also really enjoyed seeing Ron in a position where he is not only honorable and caring, but doing the "heavy lifting," if you will, in terms of fighting. I feel that he gets unjustly excluded quite a bit of the time - he is a part of the Trio, let us not forget. Thank you, and I'm looking forward to reading more of the sequel!

God, this is beautiful, sad writing. I've seen dozens of "Harry Potter dies" fics, but this is one of the ones that reaches straight into my chest and tears at my heart.

I have lost track of how many times I have read this story, but even now the emotion in chapter 7 is still enough to make my eyes water. This story for me, and most likely for others, is truely one of the greats that manages to show the love frok Harry and Hermione and still present a very likeable Ron. I eagerly look forward to the next chapter of Coming Back Late and any other future works you choose to write

After reading both this story as well as "Coming Back Late," I'm convinced that you are one of the best Harry Potter Fan Fiction writers on the internet. Your stories are very original and your writing is superb. This story is magnificent, I loved every minute of it. Thank you so much for writing such wonderful stories. This is the coolest. I hope you do give Hope adventures. Um... that was so totally unintentional.

All I have to say is "SUCK IT CANON GOLDEN TRIO SPAWN." Even though they're mostly an afterthought in canon and only fanfic writers can give them shape. And your Coming Back Late is the only story I've read with them... Or should I say only Rose. You are amazing. I can't believe I almost didn't read this. I was like "How can I stomach a Harry and Hermione story where they're dead and like Ron is the main character?" But you pulled it off. (Sidenote: I can only tolerate Ron in the hands of certain writers of fanfic. But you make me love him in this fic. I know it's so totally wrong of me to project my annoyance at Jo for allowing Ron/Hermione to pass onto him, but I can't help it. Thank God for fanfic.)

And this fic made me realize that Harry and Hermione couldn't have happened. Just because their child would be so awesome he or she would have caused all books in the universe to spontaneously combust. Hope Justina Potter Weasley 's existence alone should mean that all other works should set themselves on fire for not being as awesome.

Hope you caught the hint. But I'll say it. I'd love to see more of your wonderful original character. This brief journey into her world needs to be expanded. Thank you.

That moment when Harry put his hand on Hermione's mouth was a really great moment. Like a Kodak moment times a billion. Like nothing could could be that awesome ever.

I loved that James Joyce comment. We had to read Dubliners in eleventh grade. That was not a fun experience. But I think I enjoyed The Dead. Maybe. I can't remember. I think I'd like a Irish wake.

Neville's bit made me crack up.

The portraits of Harry and Hermione... make me wish they were around. I mean I get that Ron and Luna are her parents, but I suppose... I don't know what I'm getting at. I'm glad that Hope is well adjusted.

With a series of loud cracks, the Weasleys Disapparated. Ron looked down at his daughter. For a moment, he was tempted to wish her "Happy Birthday" in his most sarcastic voice – twisting the knife, as it were. And that would be the douchey-est thing you could ever do to a child. That just shows how it effect Ron.

She fell back a step, wide-eyed at his fury, while his tirade reached its crescendo. "And someday you won't come back to good ol' Ron! Someday Harry's going to die! And you're going to die! And I'll be left behind, again! ALONE! AGAIN! FOREVER! And it'll be my fault and it'll tear me up inside and I'll have to go on without you and I'll miss you and I'll hate you for it and it's NOT! BLOODY!! FAIR!!" His throat was raw, he was screaming so, and he had to take a deep breath for the next part of their argument… If Jo wrote Ron the way you did just then, I wouldn't think him to be the lamest and dumbest character of the story.

Wow. That was a cool dream.

Also, like even if the letter didn't say Hope Potter, wouldn't the Sorting Hat know?

OH man. Way to make me cry. Just like when I watched A Little Princess. I hate when children get taken away from people that care for them well and love them.

But OH. This so was so drama. And I just realized how craptistic is for Harry and Hermione to be dead. If anyone would love to raise a family, it would be Harry. Poor Harry. That's the saddest thing ever. And I know that it happens in real life.

Also, that Angelina and Dean were talking about racism... That was subtle. And it's true that he just traded one for the other. It makes me sad. Hopefully the times are changing.
