*wipes the tear from my eye* Awww, this was lovely, really. I love the looks we get to see at different points in their life. They were sweet, and very real feeling.

And the end... wow... I love that we get to see that she was scared (the 'shook with fear' part), most fics don't give us that peek at her, they just portray her as this completely strong/brave woman (which she was, I don't doubt that at all) but she would have also been terrified of what was going to happen. Okay, I'm rambling... sorry! lol

The "heard the words that took her husband from her"... the phrasing of that really got me, it was very powerful imagery. Well done!

Anyway, just wanted to say that I really liked it.

I know you said that you suck at summaries, but the least you could have done was to capitalize the beginnings of the sentences and the names of Lily/James/Harry.

Other than that, it was an okay story, though short.

I know that you said it was going to be short, and I understand, but it was also kind of choppy. It skipped around a lot, and you never really took time to develop each part. It was a good story, and I really liked it, but you could have expanded on each part more.
