you're not the only one who "seriously like this story." i love how james always managed to be there, to always be what lily needed, and put her first. and in a way, that might be might hopeless romantic heart asking for a little *too* much out of life. that was really sweet, though

Good work, excellent as usual. I love the interludes between the story, although I have to admit that I was kind of hoping that it would lead up to Lily's final thoughts when she was protecting Harry against Voldemort - you made quite a large deal out of "to every guy who said that he would die for her" and "to every guy who actually would" - I really think perhaps you could write another 2500 words and work in their death, and her thoughts while Voldy attacked. Perhaps her thoughts in the interim between when she was frantic for James's safety, and when she realised that he was dead - protecting her and Harry.

Rock on.
