There were no operational British jet fighters in WWII. By this date, i don't believe there were any flying in Great Britain as experimental craft. The Germans on this date were close to operational jets, but they would not be seen in combat in limited numbers until 1944.

A British night time Lancaster or Halifax Bomber would do the trick for what you want it to accomplish.

Oh, that was beautiful! I loved the idea of the WWII house, and how they painted the bedroom in honor of Charlotte and Dale. That was beautiful. I can't believe that Harry would even buy a house he disliked so much just for Hermione. That is true love. And this was a beautiful story. Keep on writing!

Awww...fluffy. Lucky this fic was rated PG only, I don't think I could have stood the heat if it was NC-17 rated with all that immagery you kept throwing at us. Privately though, can I get a NC-17 version?
