Oh my god...is this really your first fanfic?! I can't believe it. It was really really wellwritten and breathtakingly beautiful! You're so talented! You captured Harry's feelings so realistically and delicately. Your story just made me empathize with Harry for once(and although I'm a huge Hr/H shipper, Harry isn't my favorite character in the rowling's books. So it's really saying something.) Thank you for sharing your amazing story.
P.S. particularly loved the way you use "delusion/delusional" fluently. |

Okay. So... wow.
Reading the other reviews, I was a bit shocked that so many were confused -- yes, the beginning had a different flow than the rest but I thought it was quite insightful and put together nicely.
This story is so inside Harry's head that it's brilliant, and the adorable moments don't overtake what you're trying to achieve -- it just adds to the overall bittersweet feeling of the Harry and Hermione relationship (or lack thereof, at least at the moment).
I love when people practice new writing styles, and this is just fabulous. I'm looking forward to new fics from you, and thank you for writing this. I'm very glad that you're posting here, this was an amazing first fic. |
Author Feedback: I'm so glad you weren't confused. I can't keep apologising enough for that, it flowed much better in my mind than it did on paper.
And I was going for angst initially anyway, so I didn't really want to cover it, but I just could not ignore it either. That would stink.
