Author Feedback: DEATH NOTICE: “uvagirl” passed away early yesterday morning (October 4, 2005) following a five year illness. “She” was a he, my older brother and only 28 years young, and he suffered with a tumor that was too deep and too close to the brain stem to be surgically treated. He refused radiation and no chemotherapy existed other than some experimental drugs not available yet. He did survive twice as long as most others with this problem.

I’m honoring his desire of keeping his identity anonymous by using his user name to post this as he requested. He said one of his greatest enjoyments during his last months of life was reading & writing Harry Potter stories even though the writing took a lot out of him. Portkey was his favorite net site for the last six months and he appreciated all of the mostly positive reviews of his writings, and he was sorry he rarely had the energy to write many replies.

Even when very ill he was one of the smartest and funniest persons I knew. They say that under every clown’s makeup there are a sad face and tears but my brother kept his well hidden and all his friends and I saw of him were good will and a lot of laughs. We’ll all miss him.
