Author Feedback: So much of me wanted Hermione to fall dramatically into Harry's arms and say "Take me now, Harry!" but...well, there's no dramatic tension there (although I may have just gotten an idea for a humor fic).

Nicely done, the kiss could have had more, well, build up, I think is the right way to put it. |
Author Feedback: I had two versions of this scene written, one with lots of build-up and the one in the story, and before I sent it to my beta, I reread the story and both endings, and decided that the one I chose flowed a lot better in the story. A lot of the coming chapters are going to be about the calm of Harry and Hermoine's relationship (before JKR sank us, I always believed that they were such good friends, kissing would be the natural progression for them, and I wanted to use that here).
