I don't really care what your English teacher said, that was freaking awesome. It was a really great start and I love the kiss, its such a bold James Potter thing to do. I give you like an A-, I think you did great, but I felt like Lily was a bit out of character. I really liked it though, so I hope you have a ton of other stories besides this one.
