Well, that was pretty good. First things first, THANK YOU for not making harry totally give up and allow himself to die, or to kill himself, and call that a happy ending. In my book, it's not. LOL.... anyway...
This was good. well written. Harry struggled with his loss, and nearly lost it, but knew he couldnt just give up. I was a little confused at the end with "Mrs. Weasley" and Jane. It was obvious it wasnt Harry's wife, or Ginny (if she were a Mrs, it wouldnt be Weasley). I guess I assumed it was Luna or Ron's mom. I read the review and discovered Jane was his Goddaughter. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to know that for sure (like have Harry say something to her). Small potatoes, tho. Otherwise, this was great. |

Anyway, I just didn't understand something: did Harry get married or something? And who's Jane? Please answer me! I got really confused about it. And Mrs. Weasley is Molly Weasley? Or Luna Lovegood who turned Weasley? |
Author Feedback: Yes, Luna was Mrs. Weasley. Jane was Luna's child (and Ron's too). I'm glad you got some of it. I didn't want to make it clear because Mrs. Weasly could have been Luna or Ginny. Harry didn't marry. He waited for Hermione.  |

I think this was a pretty good one-shot. I was curious as to who Jane's mother was but that's alright, her name was Jane. That's all that matters. Through all of that, I don't think I really saw any mistakes - which is a bonus because not much detracted from the reading.
Sure, there was the 'end' of a memory, scene, and whatever but I just kept scrolling down because I knew it couldn't be the end like that.
Well done. I enjoyed that, even if it did make me cry.

Author Feedback: He never did. I changed it for that reason. At the end, he is not married. It was Mrs. Weasley (Ginny or Luna), not Mrs. Potter. Jane was his goddaughter. He never moved on. He waited for Hermione. |

I loved this story the first time I read it. I love it still. I guess it makes some sense that he married Ginny though it still makes me considerably sad that He couldn't be with Hermione all his life. |
Author Feedback: I changed it so he would stay single. Mrs. Weasley could have been either Luna (married to Ron) or Ginny (married to someone else. not Draco, bc I don't like that pairing). So at the end of the fic, Jane is Harry's godchild. and was named in memory of Hermione Jane. hehehe, so Harry did really wait for Hermione. Oh, and I hinted that they had a child at the end "the shy boy" is the baby that they lost when Hermione died. Therefore, he found home in heaven/paradise/ whatever you want to call it.
