I love the tribute to the HLH Slightly Skewed Recaps. I can only imagine that when the HBP movie comes out, if they're still being done, Kate's going to be using "good job idiots" for Hermione as well. Nice work as always.

Eeep. Clever job of disguising whose PLAN to which you were refering. I didn't realize it until about two thirds of the way through.

Well constructed and the story flows well. Strong context, and nice job pointing out the flaws in the characters in HBP. Overall, definitively a 9 out of 10.

Oh, I love that song and it fit so perfectly. Dumbledore's thought's on Hermione and Harry's "change" was spot on to how I felt. Great story.

I was quite surprised to see the chapter alert in my email just now, but when I saw that it was from you, I knew I was in for a great post-HBP story.

Hmmm... "Good job, idiot..." I seem to have read that on a "slightly skewed" website somewhere.


Very well done - reminds me of a short story I read back in High School (more years ago than I care to remember). I can't remember the name of the story, but it was about a man who was being hung and the story was his last thoughts/dreams before he died.

I thought this was a wonderful recap of the events of the HP series from Dumbledore's viewpoint - including his comments about the "Hermione doppleganger" we saw in HBP.


Looking forward to the next chapter alert from Romulus Lupin...maybe with the next chapter of "Seeking..."? (Hint, hint...)

*sniffle* Despite how wrong Dumbledore was in half the things he did regarding his intentions for Harry, he still did it out of love and respect and pride for Harry, to show his belief in Harry's strength, and I still miss him like hell

The PLAN, it restrained everything that had started to unfold in the first five years, didn’t it? I love it how you pointed it out that Hermione’s “wandering” was caused by her fighting against it; that her turning into a ‘virtual stranger’ had to happen all because of the PLAN – to clip her wings.

[How the mighty had fallen… after five years of being Harry's rock, his support, his friend, mentor and guide… she had become a mere shadow of herself—and all because of THE PLAN!] Thank you.

[Good job, idiot!] Nice thought. It kind of ran through my mind after reading the part wherein Harry realised that they got a fake Horcrux.

And the song, oh my, it was fitting, hilarious and sad.
