wow.

this was extremely well written even though the last chapter got a little confusing with the flashbacks, but in the end it all made sense. I loved the way you described emotions and thoughts. It's probably you're strong point as a writer, it really brought me into the story and enabled me to connect with the characters even though it became a little redundant at some times.

Usually, if a story goes without updating for an exceptionally long time, I drop it from my list. But occasionally, one catches me that I can't let go. I keep returning to it, looking and hoping for updates, for completion. This has been one of those. When I saw that you had finished it, I went back and re-read the whole thing. Thank you.

I like the difference in the R/Hr breakup and the H/G breakup and the lies and delusions that they were all living with.

I hate to ask, but is that really the end? Not that it's a bad ending or anything - I'm just hopeful! Right now the last line reads "Happy Christmas, Hermione," And see, there's a *comma* instead of a period, so I thought that maybe PK ate part of it or something?

In any case, it was a lovely story, and I'm glad that you finished it as I wasn't at portkey when you first posted. It was such a treat to read a story that made a lot of good points. I especially liked that Harry and Hermione came to understand that their happiness was worth something. That it had value.

Haha, I take it you watch Alias? The Director Kendall thing tipped me off, but the Simon Thorne and the similarity to the episode in the third season where Sydney stabs Vaughn in order to keep him alive made me double take.

So, first I must say Thank you, thank you, thank you! I read this story when it first came out, and am now so happy to have some closure and an "end". But I have one question . . . .
I don't understand the timeframe. Did Harry tell Ginny that he was leaving her the day before Christmas Eve and Ginny says she was pregnant? Then Harry had to go on a mission with Hermione? During which he told her about the baby, so Hermione's reaction (we can't go on like this anymore) due to the potential child. Then she stabs him during the mission, he goes to hospital and Hermione meets Ginny, where Ginny tells her that she's not pregnant. Hermione then leaves and goes to Godric's Hollow to wait for Harry. And the last scene is Harry arriving at Godric's to see Hermione - which isn't exactly a "happily ever after" ending that I pictured for this fic.
