Amazing.....very beautifully written. It captured the feelings for which I have suspected Hermione has always possessed for Harry.

I like your story. I'm re-reading HBP and trying to figure out why several characters seem to be OOC. One thing I noticed that goes along with your story, is about Buckbeak. People have said Buckbeak represents Harry's love, or Harry's love for Hermione. If that's the case, Hermoione says in HBP that Buckbeak is still a bit scary (when they go to visit Hagrid the first time). He's also been renamed Witherwings so he won't be recognized. I'm betting that there will come a time when Hermione won't be scared of Buckbeak anymore, and he won't have to be called Witherwings.

While I'm re-reading, I'm also checking to see if my theory holds - that Ginny gave love potion to Harry and Hermione so she could have Harry. I think she might have given it to Hermione because everyone thought H/Hr were an item, and she refocused Hermione onto Ron. What if she put it in the water by Hermione's bed, and Lavender drank more of it than Hermione!

I'm also thinking she may have used a perfume form of love potion on Harry in the fall, because Harry only thought of her after he had been in close proximity of Ginny, and it would wear off. But I think she used a stronger potion in the spring. I'm just at the point where Harry is telling the Weasleys about Romilda's love potion, and said Slughorn could probably have slipped something into the mead without him noticing. I'll bet it's shortly after this that Ginny starts eating with the trio in the Great Hall.

I think she may have been buying potions from Verity, the new clerk in the joke shop. Her name means truth, so I think the truth will come out of her at some point, then everything can go back to normal. I'm not a writer, and I'd love to read some stories along these lines, so take the idea if you like it. We delusional H/Hr shippers have to stick together! I really do think it will be H/Hr in the end, and HBP is just a big Jane Austen type twist that Jo was shooting for.

very good. I agree that Hermione seemed OOC (but Jo is the originalcreator, and knows Hermione better than all of us) but, even though HHr is my OTP, I don't think she loves Harry over Ron... I am still only going to read HHR fics, and I won't be a RH shipper, but we all, sadly, ust face the sad, sad truth. keep pumping out those great HHr fics!

It just makes me happy to see all these interpretations of Hermione's OOC behavior. Whatever JKR thought, we didnt deserve this from Book 6. I mean, could you actually believe that it was really JKR who had written it when you turned the pages? Well, shit happens - you'll just have to wipe it off and smile, i guess

Wow i really needed something like that- considering hermione is my favourite character in this series....i couldn't put to words the shock i had after reading that book...but thank-you for writting this story. It was truly amazing.
