I liked the spontaneous kiss reference to Harry and Ginny and I think that is something that Hermione might do if put in a situation where her feelings for Harry would already be found out. I also really follow and agree with your and Hermione's reasoning for why Harry and Ginny got together. Makes complete sense. Good Job!

But, as long as it helps exorcise certain demons, what's the harm in that?

Cute, very cute. It's been like a month since HBP came out and I'm still venting. H/Hr fanfiction I like more than the books now, especially after the freakin' mugglenet fiasco. Us, delusional? Whatever. We just see things like they should be and I will always be a Harmony shipper because it is the best! So nice job on another wonderful story!

Thanks for this story - I needed that after book 6. I've noticed Jo has only made present tense comments about the relationships, and I'm holding out for future tense statements, as in H/Hr will never happen. I think HBP was off because it's full of twists that will resolve in book 7. I surely hope so.

That was nice... and sweet. It wasn't overly corny or anything, which is how fluffy fics can get... nope, not at all. I was smiling most of the time, and... I dont know what else to say, it was just cute. Nicely written too, the characters were very in-character.. although, I could be wrong about what is/isnt in character.. goodness knows I thought most characters were OOC in HBP... and it was JKR's own book!
*sigh*

An the ship May sail on forever becuase people hardly marry the ones they date in school. Yes it is a sweet notion but in reall worl no. so maybe Jkr never puts our ship together but after she is doen it is our to to imagine the Futre for Harry and the Gang.!!!! Great Fic btw

i have a thing or two i would like to bring to light about your story and your comments. better yet i think i put it in a emoticon! i couldn't agree with you more except i regularlly visit mugglenet for my harry potter news but after reading the interveiw of which you speak of i must now reconsider somewhere else to get my news!! oh and i have yet to finish the book but dont worry about spoiling it for me i already know most of what happens. cough, ginny should die! cough cough.

I was rather offended by the interview myself. I think we all know what relationship she has working towards, but the mockery was uncalled for.

Her statements that the Ron-Lavender relationship showed he was growing up and becoming worthy of Hermione say a lot of unpleasant things about her views on romance. I don't really think that latching on to the first person who shows an interest in you, getting tired of them, and then ducking them until they go away does not really constitute an increase in maturity. It's cowardly and cruel (some Gryffindor courage).

I suspect that JKR she still thinks of her characters as pre-teens. Notice how all her relationships (not just HG and RH) seem like afterthoughts(Oh, yeah, they're teenagers now, so they gotta date). Look at how little dating actually seems to occur in a school of hundreds.

It's been quite a while since I was their age, but the combination of danger, freedom from parental supervision, and teenage hormones would have a far stronger effect.

In fact the only bit of romance which I thought worked at all was Tonks-Lupin. I have liked them ever since I read her calling him her "Woofie" in one of Fenris' fics. JKR managed to not really goof them up, and I hope they're included in more fics now.

As for Book 7, I just hope that she doesn't have a ten-years later epilogue or something. That way when we are stuck with the disastership Ron-Hermione, people can still write fics of them a few years later when all the characters are older,wiser and ready to move into relationship that might make them happy.

Even now these are some of my favorite stories (for example cheering charm's works, fenris', and your own Wedding).

Well, best of writing to you, and I'll keep an eye out for your coming stories.
