I feel like the first chapter was strong enough to stand on its own, but I must admit, I very much like this addendum. I think I'll always think of "Meant to Last" as a one-shot though (it became an instant favorite of mine as soon as you posted it on FF.Net!)

I just love how comfortable and affectionate Harry and Hermione are with each other in this. You write the two of them so wonderfully. Please never stop!

I'm sure I must have read this when you first posted it-- I read everything of yours. and yet I can't remember it. At any rate, I love it! It's brilliant! I love how much Harry misses her; I love how she's waiting for him; I love the idea of the four tarot suits. I love the sweetness of it.

You know, I tried to count the number of brilliant lines in here that just encapsulate just why H/G is utter bollocks and H/Hr is just right-- and then I lost track and forgot to count in the sheer wonderfulness of it all. It is wonderful and so very true, every word of it. Ginny does only see Harry returning as the triumphant hero really; she's never seen the struggle to the death that preceded it. NOt really. Even at the DOM it wasn't about her suddenly realizing, oh yeah, Harry's nearly died. Again! Plus, come to think of it, there's something significant about the fact that in that battle, Ginny suffers a broken ankle (that Harry's nicely indifferent to) but that aside, it's a broken ankle! Not exactly a fatal injury of a girl brave enough to risk all for Harry's sake. No, the near-fatal injury is to Hermione-- the girl who is, obviously, willing to risk all for his sake-- and she's the one that Harry panics over.

Unfortunately, I think HBP proved that JKR has forgotten her own canon- and more importantly, doesn't CARE about her own canon. Ah well, we'll still have fic.

I just wanted to leave a short message to tell you I really loved this story. It would be fantastic if you did decide to extend it. And if not...that's okay too.

I've read a few of your other fics and so far I have liked them all. Well, that being said, I'm off to go read some more of your stuff.

I was kind off expecting to learn that Ginny used a love potion on Harry. But this fit very well too. Without writing the time between you managed to express what happened (actions, doubts, growing love) in just a few words.
It's masterfully done.

This was beautiful. I remember having read this on ff.net. Loved it then too.

This is a totally awsome series. I hope you get the chance to continue to the finish.
